A Fa Ade Becomes A Symphony based on 0 ratings. 2 reviews.
What a trillling journey through the doors in the author's mind. She weaves in and out of the past and the future and yet keeps perfect step with the reality of her present. I found myself seeing some of the similar hurts and pains I had buried not thinking anyone else could have possibly have suffered like me. DeAnn like a skillful guides shows you where all the trap doors to success and pain are located on this journey! I am so glad she had the strength to tell of her life in such a forthright manner, no strings attached. Here's the cheese, slice it, dice it; but in the end you will enjoy it!
This is DeAnn's first book and shows that faith in God can propel us into fulfilling our dreams. I was a childhood neighbor of DeAnn's, but neighbors don't always know what goes on behind closed doors, so this book was eye-opening for me. I remember "The Warden" and he was truly a unique real-life character. First of all, congratulations to DeAnn! I love the cover! It's an excellent picture of what you'll read inside: a story of a woman whose life felt like a façade, but overcame pain, pride, and perfectionism to gain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ - the symphony. This book covers all of the seven deadly sins: wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy, and gluttony, then gives us the path to overcome them.
