I had discovered this book in the library long ago. Over the years, I return to reacquaint myself with the correct form in performing the exercises. When it was no longer available, I HAD to have it at home. The preface provides the theory of how exercise affects facial youthfulness just as it does one's body. All I can state from personal experience is that my skin is still somewhat filled and I have an appearance commensurate to those I've seen five and ten years my junior. One can never be absolutely sure "You look so young for your age!" is actual truth and not appeasement.
