Java jumps onto a large rock his white pelt shining in the sun. He roars to the newcomers. "All are welcome. Post your bios in the last result. Read my bio first for a coat rule. Only one male d female of a white coat and one male and female of a black coat. All other coats are open to whoever. I am the white male and Kira is the black female." He jumped down and went to the zebra body. He tore some off and laid it in front of Zuna and the lioness. Kira smiled and laid down to watch. Fang padded over and nodded ay the lioness around Zuna. "Hello." Savage chased her tail.

I was expecting an intimate conversation with the writer and his inner self. Instead, I feel more as though I've been sitting in an auditorium, listening to him talk about all the things he's learned. The occasional story makes a positive impression, but the way the book started created a false impression of its potency.
