I loved this book by the fantastic Wynter Daniels. It is about Jolie Brown, a former child star and grand daughter of the famous Henry Brown. She is married to former rock star Lane Wood, who is English and crass. Up to now Jolie's life hasn't been a happy one, her father committed suicide, her mother took all her money she made as a child star, her first husband cheated on her and her current husband is a piece of work, who only married her for money he thought she'd inherit when her grandfather passed away. The only person she truly trusts is her grandfather and his health is failing. Now she is in desperate need of money and her agent isn't helping her, only suggesting commercials and reality television, but Jolie wants to act. Dante Ebersol, son of Charles Ebersol of Ebersol Productions is on his last chance to produce a successful show according to his father, He is looking to make a reality show of a celebrity. He has gone through many when Jolie Brown's name is mentioned to him, if he could get her he thinks he could have a successful show. When Jolie finally accepts and the show starts Dante and Jolie realize they are very attracted to each other, but know to keep their relationship professional. Yet other people, like Lane are bound and determined to ruin Jolie and Dante's lives to get what he wants from life. I loved all the twist and turns in this story and the many secrets that are revealed. Mostly I love how Wynter wrote her characters, so much that the nasty characters I wanted to punch if I could and hug the characters in need. This book just draws you in and puts you in the middle of everything and lets you feel with the characters. A great read you wont put down.

For some reason, the story did not pull me in. This could be a very well written book; however, I didn't get past the first 10 pages before I flipped to the end.
