I fell in love with Faelon, he is a great character with a tortured past  (and I mean tortured).  Jax is the security guard new to Salem, in charge of guarding antiques in the church not knowing that Faelon is the antique is he guarding.   Him and Faelon start a friendship of sorts which turns into something more.  There is so much I love about this book, it is plotted out well, the characters are interesting and in the case of Jax, he needs a little push from his sister to accept not only his feeling for Faelon but also accept that Faelon is a Nephilim.  I liked learning about Faelon's history even if it was dark, he has friends in the twins and a Dom in Jax. The passion between Faelon and Jax scorches the pages, and I enjoyed the flow of the book. There are some unanswered question about what will happen next at the end of the story but I am hopeful that AJ Kelton will continue this story in another book.
