About the Author

L. M. Whitaker is a young girl with big dreams. She loves to draw, design, write, play, and much more. She began writing around the age of 7 but unfortunately had two flops before releasing "Faith: A Panda's Story" to the public.
Every year she gives her grandparents a homemade 'one of a kind' book to hold in their library. The one she gave this year included full illustrations and typed words about a fish named Finn. She never wants to publish those books because they are purposely made for her grandparents, and she wants them only to have them.
L. M. Whitaker hopes to write more books, but after this book, she'll probably write a simple picture book. L. M. Whitaker also does other things in her spare time such as arts, music, and sports. She plays violin, piano, tin whistle and also sings in a choir. She loves softball, golf, tennis, swimming, horseback riding, and more. She loves to act, and she sings made-up songs every day around her house. She lives in North Carolina, with her family and her spotted dog, Dottie.
