About the Author

I am the author of a Culture Crime Series that includes GOLDEN ICON (The Prequel), MASTERPIECE and BOOK OF HOURS.

I have also published a love story ELLIE BRAVO and a book of short stories RED SHOES.

My background is in travel and tourism and I use my experiences of living and travelling abroad and knowledge of locations as an integral part of scenes in my novels.

I have a passion for history and cultural heritage. I love to see people maintain deep-rooted traditions. Identity is an important part of us all and I believe understanding the lives of others creates respect and unity in our society.

My Culture Crime Series allows me to develop characters and to explore right and wrong whilst writing about our world heritage, art and ethnicity.

I am currently working on my next novel in the Culture Crime Series.

"I am revising my review of this book. The author emailed me that it had undergone more editing, so I am hoping that the punctuation errors, etc. have been fixed. That being said - The things I liked: I have traveled extensively, and am familiar with most of the cities throughout Europe which were used as a backdrop for the story. I enjoyed seeing those sites again through another person’s eyes, and with an artistic slant. Didn’t like: I had trouble having sympathy for Mikky - spoiler alert - she simply throws away her love relationship, the father of her baby? No attempt to reconcile at all? Really. To me that’s very cold and unattractive. I really wanted to care about the protagonist, but found myself liking Peter more. I wish the book had been about him. I would have liked Mikky to have been portrayed in a more caring light. It seemed as if she only cared about revenge and avenging the death of her baby. I am going to read some of the previous books to see if my opinion of Mikky might be off. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review."
