The secrets unfold slowly keeping you reading with baited breathe, you have ideas about what may be going on but even I didn't guess it all. A few things steered me in a different direction for a bit which I love, I hate these things being made to easy. Intense with just the right amount of emotion and suspense to make this a gripping read that I enjoyed. I will be going on to read the rest of this series as soon as possible.

Loving this series! My Rating: 4.5 Favorite Quotes: “Sam was an easy guy to get on with, once you got behind the fake drag queen in him.  The campiness was an act he used to cover his shyness.  He felt that if people were going to comment on his life choices, then give them something to really talk about.” My Review: This is my first time reading Tracie Podger and am I ever glad I signed up to review the series, as shortly into this first book - I am hopelessly addicted.  The story is interesting, entertaining, and unique, I found it very appealing and hard to put down.  Her sensual scenes are smoking hot.  This book chronicles a young British woman’s vacation, and it proved to be quite an eventful period for her.  She breaks up with her boyfriend of 10 years and decides to come to the US to visit a childhood friend while licking her wounds.  Fresh off the jet, she meets her friend’s boss, and the adventure begins.  Over a 5 week period she falls in love, changes her employment, makes new friends, acquires several wardrobes of designer clothes, has the best sex of her life, is kidnapped, shot at, and suffers broken bones.  Wow, I wonder what the brochures would look like for that type of holiday?

Fallen Angel by Tracie Podger 3 out of 5 Stars **DISCLAIMER** As a reviewer, I don’t read other people’s reviews or the author’s synopsis prior to starting a book.  I want to go in completely unjaded and let the work speak for itself.  So other than the very brief overview or genre label I get when signing up for the tour, I have no idea what the book is truly about.  Onto my review!! Ok, so you know those books that you read that start out making you feel like something is going to happen one way and you keep reading EXPECTING that thing to happen or at least something like that thing to happen, and it never does?  Well that's Fallen Angel for me; in the beginning Podger gives the impression that Robert Stone is potentially a true fallen angel, with vision flashes, an incredibly dangerous aura, and some word choices and references to darkness, so I'm waiting for him to be a demon or some such.  However, within a few chapters, he just becomes a broken man with a lot of secrets and dark intensity.  The story I was left with is a good story, however I just kept waiting and the suspense and failure to bring the vision references back into the story kind of ruined it for me. Overall, I did enjoy Podger's writing style, minus the hiccup.  She writes in a way that truly sucks you in and her sex scenes are just as intense as her characters!  Speaking of characters, that's another area that Podger exceeds in.  I loved Travis and Evelyn and how they gave a life and warmness to      Robert and how full and rich his and Brooke’s conversations were once we started getting to know him. So it truly is a good story once you realize that Robert is not a true Fallen Angel from Heaven and there is nothing paranormal about this story.  Now, would I say it’s my fault for not reading the synopsis prior to reviewing it…no.  I think it is a slightly misleading bit in the story that didn’t get edited out or Podger decided to let go of it in favor of a different plot.  Every story should speak for itself from beginning to end and have no lose bits that make you wait for something totally out of left field, even if all other aspects of the style, characters, and plot are spot on! *A complimentary copy was given in exchange for an honest review* Pepper, My Secret Book Spot
