Overview

Falling Down by Anne Mercier, Chandra Skyye

I was twelve when I started crushing on him. I was seventeen when I met him by chance and our connection was made. Now here I am, twenty-three, and I'm one of the two actresses in the video for his band's latest single.

Jesse Kingston is a tall, dark, and gorgeous temptation I'm finding hard to resist. It ends up not being as simple as doing a job and going home. It can't be when he continually makes his presence known with his not-so-innocent touches and sexy words. There is no avoiding him, and after spending so much time with him, I'm not sure I want to. So, when he proposes a weekend together, I throw caution to the wind and say yes. I'm going to ignore the warning signs and do what I normally wouldn't. I'm going to indulge my fantasies and give this sexy rocker what he wants and something he won't soon forget-me.

The only question is: Is one weekend going to be enough? Will our time end up changing this bad boy? Or will it end up changing me? Contains mature themes.

This was a good read and a great start to a new series. Lost of laughs and very hot read.

Ughhhh, could not even get past chapter 2. Honestly reads like it was written by a middle school kid. Just awful!

Really a good read, the only complaint I have is that the dialogue can be hard to follow.  At points there are five people in a room talking and no indication of who is saying what.

This is every teenage girls dream come true. I found it emotional with a great storyline, it is hot and a bit steamy. The sexual stamina is to good to be true, but blissful to think it does. I will say, I one-clicked the next book before I finished this so I will be continuing with the series even though it looks like its 14 books altogether. I was gripped from start to finish though I couldn't get it read in one day due to life getting in the way, it would have been nice to just hide away somewhere quiet for however long it took to read without interruption. I have wanted to read Anne Mercier for quite a while but just hadn't gotten around to it, I am so glad I did eventually, it was so worth the wait

Lucy was this perfect girl who is an award winning actress and who is not only beyond beauty but extremely nice. Ever since she was young she has had this crush on rockstar Jesse Kingston who she fortunately meets in an airport and she actually gets to talk to him. Even at her young age they seem to some sort of connection. A few years later Lucy actually gets to do a video with Jesse and that connection that was felt earlier is not only there but now they are able to build on it. Lucy and Jesse’s story was something that I had to keep reading and I am looking forward to the second in this series to come out!! Not only did Ms. Mercier do such a good job with them that the supporting characters were great to read about as well. All of the different personalities meshed really well. There were many times that you not only felt your heart break a little but I was laughing out loud at some of the things said. I have to say again that I really liked this book & cannot wait for the second one.

Not that great.  Immature characters and very little in the way of a developed plot.

I felt like I was reading a high school students attempt at writing. I couldn't continue reading. The dialogue was frustrating and immature to read at times.

Loved this! This whole story flows exeptionally well. So well, in fact, I was finished before I knew it! It could have ended where it did and I would have been happy with that, but I know there's another book out there so that makes things even better. There's no cheesy to this book either. There's real. I felt like I was eaves dropping on Lucy and Sera's conversation at times. Real problems with real conversations. A bunch of friends figuring their stuff out and moving on. Realizing what's important and what's not. Bonds are formed and loyalties are tested. The characters are awesome. From Lucy and Sera's don't-hold-back relationship to the less heard from and often quiet Ethan. These characters are very well developed and each written in to the story where they need to be. They have their role and it plays out very nicely. The whole flow of this book was awesome and I can't wait to read the next one. This is my first book by Anne Mercier, and she did not let me down.

I liked Falling Down, but I didn't love it. It was a fun, easy ready that is fast paced. There were some pretty funny parts where I did laugh out loud. However, there were also parts that made you think you were reading from a high school point of view when they are in their twenties. All in all it was a pretty good book. And I will read the next in the series.

5 star I was pulled right into this story. The story flowed well I was kept interested in the story. I read it in one sitting. The story has laughs, pain, anger, and heartbreak. This is Lucy and Jesse’s story. Lucy met Jesse when she was young but it was just a chance meeting in an airport. Now years later she is an actress and dancer in music videos when she is secretly hired to dance in Jesse’s music video. After agreeing to a few days with Jesse it turns into so much more. Lucy is trying to build her band up now that she is done all her commitments for her acting career. Will her fans support her? Will Jesse like the changes she has in store for her career? Can they make it with the crazy fans and internet crap interfering in their relationship? Does Jesse even want a relationship or does he want to have her and the fans? I loved these characters and also the side characters. There are some tear filled moments and some anger filled moments in this story. But all in all I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.
