Reviewed by Jack Magnus for Readers' Favorite Falling for Niagara: A Cindy's Crusades Story is a contemporary romantic short story written by Susan Jean Ricci. Her given name was Thelma Louise Heatherton -- her mother had loved the eighties movie featuring the two heroines with those names, but she called herself Niagara. You see, she had been conceived on her parents' first anniversary which they celebrated by those famous falls, and she still mourned their deaths nine years later. She kept their memory near by visiting Niagara Falls several times a year, and that is where Jace saw her. She was a splendid image gracing the railing of the Maid of the Mist as she savored the mist and the crash of the falls, and seeing her standing so regally, her long, raven-black hair streaming in the wind, banished the thoughts which had so preoccupied his mind of late. When he saw her dining alone at The Top of the Falls Restaurant, he knew he had to find a way to get to know her. Susan Jean Ricci's contemporary romantic short story, Falling for Niagara: A Cindy's Crusades Story, is an eloquent and lovely story about two grieving souls who quite improbably meet amidst the backdrop of Niagara Falls. It's been some time since I last visited that most impressive natural landmark, and I loved visualizing it once again through the author and her characters' eyes. Jace and Niagara are marvelous characters, both strong and independent, and the reader can't help but hope that they both somehow let down their respective guards and get past their awkward and somewhat prickly first encounter. Ricci's plot is contemplative and powerful, and her writing is smooth and flowing. Falling for Niagara is an intriguing and enjoyable short story, and it's highly recommended.

Niagara Falls, one place most honeymooners visit. It's romantic, powerful and a force of nature. It also may have a bit of magic mixed in. Two single people show up at the Falls. Each one for their own particular reasons. Destiny, fate or something, alerts one of these people to the other. From that moment on this person knows they are meant to be. They are forever linked. How about you? Think destiny or fate lends a hand at times? Such a romantic book. It will pull you down in your chair on page one and won't let you go until THE END. It's touching and beautiful while still being funny. Well written and characters you'd find in anywhere USA, this book will lighten your heart considerably. Ms. Ricci seems to be able to put words to thoughts in a way that will have you shaking your head in agreement. Just a touch of whimsy keeps you involved. I really like this one. I found no issues. I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because it will resonate with all of you. ~Copy of book provided by author in exchange for a fair review~
