'To be honest, she enjoyed her unforgiveness. She snuggled up with it the way she would a comforter whenever she was feeling down.' I have been a Becky Wade fan since I read her first book and I fully expect to be a forever fan. Sometimes a writer, after having written a number of books, burns out a bit and their work is not as satisfying to the reader as it was at first. Not this writer. Becky Wade just gets better and better. One thing I love about her work is that she is not afraid to proclaim Christ in her books. Each contains a strong spiritual theme and that really makes me happy. Becky Wade is one of a handful of writers whose books I look forward to all year after closing the last page of the current one. And they never fail to live up to their anticipation. We met Willow Bradford and Corbin Stewart in Wade's first book in the Bradford Sisters series, True To You. Corbin walked in the room where Willow was and the tension was so thick it could be cut with a knife. The reader knew something bad had happened between them, something of great magnitude, by the way they treated each other. And we wanted to know what that was. Willow, an internationally famous model, is back at her family's home, running her parents' bed and breakfast while they are away on a missions trip, but just until the new manager arrives. She has never expected to see Corbin ever again. Then she meets 12 year old Charlotte, Corbin's niece, who is dying to unravel a decades old family mystery and insists that Willow and Corbin are the very ones to help her. Willow reluctantly agrees, even though she knows it will throw her into Corbin's company often in the next few weeks until she is due to leave for her own home. Corbin is a former NFL quarterback, famous as all get out. He retired due to a severe shoulder injury and is back in town for rehab and taking care of his ill father. He is forceful and always intent on getting what he wants. Nothing Wade could have done with this character could have added to his appeal. Corbin is perfect. And he decides he wants Willow back. Willow wants nothing of the sort. Willow and Corbin both have battle scars from their childhoods and have allowed those scars to effect their lives. But they are about to learn a very important truth: God doesn't make mistakes. I loved the witty banter between Corbin and Willow. He is a true scamp if ever there was one. I was pulling for him all the way through the book. Wade has added suspense to her last two books and she has also done that well. Nothing over the top, just an added bonus to each book and it works tremendously well for her! Becky Wade has always had the knack for involving her readers in her stories. We feel as if we know these people, feel their hearts and are pulling for them every step of the way, crying with them as they experience heartbreak and then joy. I love how Wade plumbs the emotional depth of her characters, spending time letter her readers get to know everything about them and not just on the surface. We see here how Willow always seems so strong on the outside, so in control, when in reality, there is a little girl lost in there somewhere who copes with heartache by binge shopping for housewares. I loved everything about this book. I am now sad because I'll have to wait an entire year for Britt's story! Hurry up, time! *My thanks to the publisher for a copy of this book. All opinions stated here are entirely my own.

I can't tell you how precious the Bradford family is. A history of heartache, bonds that no one can beak, loyalty, love, forgiveness...As we learn more about the sisters and the family, we come to see that even though these are fictional characters, God's plans can take even the worst situations and turn them into good for His glory. It was interesting reading Willow and Corbin's story because although the details were vastly different, my husband and I have a similar story. We dated for a while, broke up, I moved to Africa and he went off to boot camp...But God wasn't done with us yet. Through God's grace and forgiveness, He brought us back together and we are now going on 7 years of marriage. Corbin and Willow go through so much in this book. Willow's battle with unforgiveness (not only for Corbin but for herself) is something that I think many of us can relate to. We know God forgives us, but can we forgive ourselves? Can we truly believe that our loving Father wants to BLESS us with immeasurable joy? Or do we think we are unworthy of such love? I love that Becky Wade infuses her stories with a bit of mystery alongside the romance. I love trying to solve the problems alongside the characters. She writes her stories in such a way that you just HAVE to read ONE more chapter!!! Set in my home state, I love the setting she chose for Bradfordwood. It's truly a beautiful area. Even if it is the "rainy" side. LOL! Filled with Biblical truths, heartache, mystery, romance, and forgiveness, Falling for You will sweep you off your feet and I pray open your eyes of the love and forgiveness that our heavenly Father carries for us all. YES....even you! I received a complimentary copy of Falling for You from the publishers. I was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine alone.

I absolutely loved True to You and couldn’t wait to read Willow and Corbin’s story in Falling for You! I couldn’t help but get excited by the prospect of a good mystery when Corbin’s niece, Charlotte, asked both him and Willow to help her solve the case of a missing family member. As they’re repeatedly thrown together during the investigation, Corbin and Willow had a lot of emotional baggage to unpack and peace to be made between them. I really appreciated how they were able to work through their past mistakes while building a better, stronger foundation for their relationship. I could really relate to Willow’s struggle with forgiving herself for her past mistakes, and I feel like it’s something that we all struggle with at times. It’s such an important part of our growth as Christians, and I love the way that Becky Wade wove it into such a beautiful love story! Now I’m eagerly awaiting Britt’s story next in Sweet on You! I received a copy of this book from Bethany House through NetGalley and am under no obligation to post a positive review. All opinions are my own.

This book is a book that you can follow the creation, fall, redemption, and restoration process throughout. Her characters have definitely not "arrived" and as I was reading along there were times until I understood where she was going, that I was trying to figure out where she might be going with their stories. She had a mystery included that begged to be solved. That was a great addition to an otherwise complete story that I think just added another element to her book. With all that, you could say that this author went above and beyond on this one. I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

This is book 2 (three if you count the prequel) in A Bradford Sisters Romance series. It can be a stand a lone book, you will just miss some history in the Bradford family, but nothing that would keep you from understanding anything in this novel. Yet they are all great so I would recommend reading them all. Willow Bradford is a beautiful model who is taking care of her families inn. When her ex boyfriend, Corbin, is thrown into her life will she be able to forgive him and maybe herself and find happiness. I love the sparks between Willow and Corbin. The family dynamics of both of them and all the drama. There is some mystery, romance, history and much more in this book. I always look forward to books by Becky Wade.

I generally enjoy reading books that I can read quickly because they work well with my busy schedule and in completing them, there is a sense of accomplishment. But, I also enjoy reading longer books, where I can linger and be part of the characters' adventure for a longer stay. I most recently finished reading the great contemporary romance novel, Falling for You by Becky Wade. With the way that Becky Wade develops her characters and lets things unfold naturally, the reader can't help but feel like they know these people and want to spend time with them, experiencing the highs and lows of their emotions. You find yourself pulling for them to find resolution and happiness. I liked Wade's utilization of phone calls, e-mail, Messenger, and text message exchanges and text from the contents of Josephine's box at the end of each chapter to help transition and provide more context to the exchanges happening in the story. It not only keeps the story moving, but it also provided another way for her to showcase the witty banter and the flirting between the characters (even if it was one sided early on). It also made the book feel very contemporary, as compared to some contemporary books that are relatively 'timeless' in their setting. Falling for You was an enjoyable story filled with forgiveness, faith and second chances. There is a nice amount of suspense and mystery within the story, an anticipation that pulls the reader in wanting to know what they might learn next and whether there is a connection. It is when Charlotte asks Willow and Corbin to help her uncover the mystery of her grandma's sister's disappearance that they find themselves partnering and working together for the first time since their break-up. Through the time that they work on the mystery, they are able to reconnect and Corbin is finally able to get time with Willow to have the conversation that they should have had before they broke-up and share with her his perspective on the events leading up to their break up and how he acted. As they spend time together, he shares with her about his discovery of faith, his childhood and caring for his father. As the story winds down, there is still uncertainty, but we see true character shine through and discover the power of forgiveness. I truly enjoyed this engaging, suspenseful story with characters that I liked hanging out with. I look forward to the next book in this series. (This is the 2nd book in the Bradford Sisters Romance series, but don't worry, it reads well even if you didn't read True to You.) A complimentary review copy was provided to me. All opinions expressed are my own.

Becky Wade has done it again! Another incredible contemporary romance novel for the keeper shelf. Falling for You is the 2nd book in the Bradford Sisters series, but can be read as a stand alone novel. Wade is a master of contemporary romance. She weaves together an intriguing story of romance, humor, forgiveness, and suspense as the main characters (Willow and Corbin) work together to solve a decades old mystery of a missing person from Corbin’s family. This was one of my two favorite books of 2018. I can’t wait until the 3rd book in the series comes out next year.

This is a compelling and intriguing Christian romance with an interesting mystery to add to the story. I enjoyed reading Corbin and Willow’s story. Both are very “real” characters who have their flaws and have made their mistakes. I absolutely loved Willow, and I’m hoping we get to meet her again in another book in this series. The supporting cast of characters fit their place perfectly in the story. The theme of this book is forgiveness, faith, redemption, and second chances. Becky Wade has done a fabulous job illustrating all of these aspects throughout the storyline. Following this series about the Bradford sisters is a delight. I’m glad there’s still more to be added the stories of Nora, Britt, and Willow. I’ll be eagerly watching and waiting for the next book. I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.

Although this is the second book in the series, you do not necessarily have to read the first book before reading Falling For You. The books do have the same characters, but the first book follows the story of one sister and the second book follows the story of a different character. One thing that I loved about this book was that the truth of the Gospel is made apparent to the readers. There is an overriding theme of forgiveness in this story, both by the characters as well as the grace of God. This book is mainly a love story of two people falling in love, but there is more to the story than that as it follows a young character who is trying to find a long lost relative who has been missing for the past 40 years. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading Christian Fiction with some romance. Thank you to Bethany House Publishers for sending me a finished copy of Falling For You. Thank you for stopping by and reading this book review!

Falling for You is another great example of why author Becky Wade is my favorite contemporary author. In this second book of the Bradford sisters’ romances, we get oldest sister Willow and her story and what happened between her and her love, former NFL quarterback Corbin. This was a great addition to this already strong sisterly bond and shows what happens when you think you are not perfect enough for yourself. Having a hard time forgiving herself and living with the guilt and shame of her past with Corbin, Willow has turned inward and now strives harder to be the perfect older sister and daughter and a moral example to young women who look up to her and her modeling career. Corbin has had a change of heart and now is pursuing living a better life then what he did. Enter his cousin’s preteen daughter with an unusual quest and per her instructions he must include his ex-girlfriend Willow to help them. Willow and Corbin have a lot of chemistry, love, and hate flowing between them. It was a constant tug of war for both of them to hold on to their emotions until both decided to try their love once again. There is a mystery story along with theirs and through a series of flashbacks we get to see just what happened to this couple the first time around. Family secrets are brought to life and certain requests are made that certainly looked like they could derail this rekindled romance. I really enjoyed this second installment even though it was a rocky road for these two to move on from the past into a future that would be better for them. I received a complimentary copy of this novel. I was not required to post a positive review and all views and opinions are my own.

I am a Becky Wade fan. Her contemporary romances are real and deal with real issues and wounded people. I loved this book and the romance that bloomed between Willow and Corbin. It would seem Willow has the perfect life and that is actually what has lead her down some paths that have been twisted. Corbin has his own brokenness but with Christ he sees there is redemption. Then there is the mystery that is thrown in there, and I love a good mystery. So with Becky Wade I am getting a hot romance and intense mystery as well. If you like a good contemporary romance that doesn’t shy away from the brokenness in the world around and the temptations that come crashing our way then I am sure you will love this book. A copy of this book was given to me by the publisher. All opinions are my own.

This was my first experience reading a book by Becky Wade. I had high hopes because of how beautiful the covers of her books are. My expectations were exceeded when I read the book. The characters are charming, funny, and so real. I wanted to have them as my friends. They weren't surface but deep. The story took twists and turns that kept me interested. I loved the tension between Corbin and Willow. I was rooting for them and wanting them to love each other. I struggled with some of the text/email/message content between chapters. I found it confusing some of the time. I wondered if it was necessary. But I LOVED THIS STORY! It's a fast read. One where you stay up way too late at night to keep reading... "just one more chapter!" It's romantic, funny, mysterious, and just so fun. I can't wait to check out some of Becky Wade's other books. I received a copy of this book from Bethany Publishers as a member of their blogger program. I was in no way obligated to write a positive review. All opinions stated here are my own.

My Thoughts: There was a lot here that I really, truly enjoyed. But sadly there were some things but bugged me more than I expected. I was excited to revisit the Bradford sisters, and I look forward to hearing Britt’s story next. I can’t count the number of times I laughed out loud while reading Willow’s snarky comments and then melting at something charming that Corbin said. Overall, I really liked their story and their relationship. Wade brings a lovely message about forgiveness and the consequences of sin. However, I struggled when the story hit a lull shortly after the opening chapters. Solving the mystery, which was fantastically written, kept me coming back. There was a plot twist toward the end of the novel that felt forced and, quite frankly, frustrating. But Wade pulled it out in the end and brought something beautiful out of it. I was very glad I stuck with it. Rating and Recommendation: I’m giving Falling For You 4 stars and recommend it to fans of Christian Contemporary Romance. ~ I received a copy from Bethany House. I was not compensated for this review. All thoughts are my own.

This book, in true “Becky Wade” style, delivers a heartfelt story of grace and love that never dies. Willow and Corbin (Love their names!) are a dynamite couple. Their past is very complicated. At the beginning, their fears are keeping them from living life abundantly. The truths they learn along the way are a great reminder for all of us. Romantic hearts will rejoice reading this. Our hero pursues his lady relentlessly and seems to charm everyone but her at the start. The conversations between them are full of entertaining banter and tension as the two come to realize they still have feelings for each other after all these years. There’s also a nice little dose of mystery to keep you turning the page. There are some mature subjects discussed, involving some of the characters’ past regrets, but the story is told with a delicate grace. Nobody is perfect and these two characters – gorgeous and talented as they are – still have a lot to learn about God. Their spiritual walk really deepens as the story develops. Their journey is both believable and inspiring. It’s the second installment in the series, but you can still read it by itself and enjoy it. There are small hints and underlying stories from the other sisters, but they only add to the story. If you haven’t read the first book, it will definitely leave you wanting more. A fun summer read! I received a copy from the publisher. No review, positive or otherwise, was required—all opinions are my own.

Model Willow Bradford has traveled internationally, gained wealth, purchased a home in LA, and dated famous men. But for now, she's taking a reprieve from public life and managing her family's bed and breakfast inn. Corbin Stewart, Willow's ex-boyfriend and a former NFL star, abruptly disturbs her peaceful respite when he arrives with his preteen niece and her unusual request for help. Determined to maintain distance from Corbin and cognizant that she has none of the skills needed to help, Willow graciously refuses. Yet, shortly after her initial refusal, she finds herself agreeing to help! Can Willow and Corbin maintain distance while they work together? Will they finally lay the past to rest and find peace? Read more in Falling for You by Becky Wade. Falling for You is the second full-length novel in Becky Wade's Bradford Sisters Romance Series. It works fine as a stand-alone if you have not read the prequel, Then Came You, and the first novel, True to You. Falling for You opens with a decades-old mystery and heavy tension between Willow and Corbin. This captivated my attention immediately and I stayed interested throughout the story. The tension, witty banter, and underlying passion was spot on for Willow and Corbin. I enjoyed watching the characters develop and mature, paralleling the development in their complicated relationship. Between the mystery and the romance, the plot moved steadily, never dragging, constantly drawing me back even though I had to read it over several days. Falling for You felt like a fairly light read, but it had some tense, difficult, and heavy moments. Becky Wade also added in a strong Gospel message as well as promotion of core Christian principles (which I won't name because I don't want to get to close to giving spoilers). I recommend Falling for You by Becky Wade to all fans of Christian romance. If you like other Becky Wade books, you will probably like this one as well. I'm already excited for the next book! It was a delight to revisit the Bradford's through Willow's story. All the characters are fun, charming and endearing. I was excited to get the chance to revisit them. Becky Wade has a way of providing us with a little more than a sweet clean Contemporary Romance. Becky includes some interesting twists with stories that have a bit of mystery. In Falling For You Willow is thrust back into an acquaintance with Corbin through his pseudo 13 year old niece who has a secret and mystery to solve. Neither Corbin nor Willow want to be 'involved' again after a bad break up but Corbin can't say no to Charlotte and once Willow meets Charlotte she too is torn. The story moves along at a good pace and you'll be turning the pages as things get interesting and the tension between Corbin and Willow heats up. But they each have 'thing's that pull at them and cause them to question themselves. Falling for You is a great Christian Romance that will have you turning the pages and wanting read the rest of this series. I was smitten from the very beginning!! Author Becky Wade never fails to bring her A-Game when it comes to character development and Falling For You was no exception. Right away readers are introduced to two captivating characters, the beautiful Willow Bradford and the enchanting Corbin Stewart. Ms. Wade does an excellent job creating tension between these two lovebirds through humor, wit, desire, and uncertainty it was easy for me to get swept up in their romance with plenty of heart-swooning sighs. Another thing I love about Ms. Wade's stories is that readers get more than a tender romance. Falling For You carries elements of mystery, suspense, and a redemptive theme bringing together a plot that kept me excited to return to Corbin and Willow's story as quickly as I could between chapters. This is the second in the series and can be read as a stand alone but I highly recommend reading Then Came You and True To You to truly enjoy the richness of characters Ms. Wade has created. If you love Becky Wade's Porter Series you'll ADORE the Bradford Sisters!! **I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest review. As usual, Becky Wade wrote an awesome book. I have read several of her books and they never disappoint me. Falling For You is the second of A Bradford Sister Romance. It is the compelling story of the eldest Bradford sister, Willow. I have to say this story kept me engaged and entertained from the very first page. I didn't want to put it down, and I was sad that it had to end. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. If you are looking for a new contemporary author, you should definitely check out Becky Wade. Her Porter Family novels are excellent as well. Bethany House provided me with a copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

Romance with a little mystery mixed in I first discovered Becky Wade’s writing in her book True to You, which I loved. That’s why I was excited to see Becky’s second book in the Bradford Sisters Romance, Falling for You. What I found in Falling for You was a return to the town of Merryweather, a place I’d like to visit, with characters I liked from Becky’s earlier book, True to You. In this book Willow, the oldest Bradford sister, takes center stage with her ex-beau Corbin. The rest of the Bradford family and friends, including Nora and Britt, are back but mostly in the background of this story. I enjoyed the backdrop of the story, as 12-year-old Charlotte enlists of Willow and Corbin to help solve a 40-year-old family mystery of Josephine who went missing back on 1977 and was never heard from again. Would Willow and Corbin be able to set aside their differences to help Charlotte find out what happened to her great aunt? Would they be able to reconcile after a painful and ugly breakup? Had either of them changed over the last four years? At first, I wasn’t sure if I would be able to relate to Willow a famous supermodel and Corbin a former pro-football player. Their careers and lifestyle were much bigger than life or ordinary people. I found that their emotional pain and coming to terms with their poor choices were something I could relate to. Becky included the Christian faith, somewhat. I think it could have been more strongly woven in to the characters and storyline. Something I would have appreciated is to have Willow, as a Christian, recognize her past choice to have sex outside of marriage as sin instead of saying it was a mistake. While a mistake may have consequences, calling something sin acknowledges it as wrong before God. I liked the mystery part of Falling for You best, as well as the reconciliations between characters, forgiveness and seeing how the characters had grown and changed. Overall, I give this book at 3.5 rating. While I liked the storyline, I didn’t connect to the characters as much as I did in True to You. If you like a romance with some mystery mixed in you may enjoy Falling for You by Becky Wade. I would like to thank NetGalley and Bethany House Publishers for the opportunity to read Falling for You by Becky Wade in exchange for an honest review. I was under no obligation to give a favorable review.

FALLING FOR YOU is Becky Wade's newest book. Becky Wade is a hugely popular author and I've tried her books a couple times, but just can't get into them. I was planning on passing on this one, but my sixteen year old daughter also heard great things about Becky Wade and wanted to try it. I don't want to influence her taste, so I told her she had to review it. She agreed. Said daughter's review: "It's all telling. She doesn't show. I can't get into it." Book tossed down on my desk. Might I add said daughter is an avid reader and she reads almost everything that crosses her path? Um. And I'm supposed to come up with a seventy-five word review from that? So I picked the book up. I really really really wanted to like it because Ms. Wade IS a hugely popular author and well, super models and football players, cute little tween girls and a family mystery -- what isn't to like? Said daughter was right. It was all telling. I couldn't into it either and I did try. Really I did. Ms. Wade writes well, but the characters were distant, and even though they were flawed, I couldn't find myself liking them. The tween girl seemed the best developed of the book. Don't listen to my thoughts though. Read the over 100 five star reviews and think about how wonderful Ms. Wade is. I am probably one of the few people who just don't get it. If you like football heroes, super models and long hidden family secrets -- not to mention drama -- you will likely love Becky Wade's FALLING FOR YOU.
