About the Author
Kay Yendole is the founder member of Writershed a women writers workshop. A retired teacher Kay has written family biographies; travel journals and murder mystery but not for general sale. This is her first venture into publishing. Fellow members of the group Ruth, June, Rosina, Sheila and Val are all promising new writers some of which have not had work published before. The ethos of the group is to encourage and support each other in developing our craft, we all write from personal experience and want to share our thoughts and feelings on topics important to us and hope our work will be appealing and enjoyable for the reader. Ruth enjoys writing poetry and short stories and finds writing a form of self expression unlocking the mysteries of the mind. She hopes her writing is meaningful and touches the experience of others.Val is an amazing lady fighting a battle to overcome illness and hopes her writing will inspire her adored grandchildren.Sheila has written many short stories and poems and had some published in magazines and the Reader's Digest. June is an accomplished artist as well as a writer and has had one book published 'Last of the Strawberries and is currently writing the sequel 'Apples in the Dust' The love of her life is communicating with people through her writing.Rosina hopes her love of nature will reflect her thoughts and feelings and capture for her descendants her interpretation of life.
