This book should be the number one guide for anyone wanting to learn to sculpt either real faces or charactures. The instructions are in depth and detailed beyond the level of any other guide I have ever used. After using the book to sculpt a few basic faces I was able to go on and create some original works, they make great Christmas and Birthday gifts. You never feel lost in the details, there is truly a progressive and artistic approach given to what could be an extremely complicated process. A must have!

A good book for learning how to make characters out of clay. Very clear instructions with plenty of information.
