After reading the details,I realized what Fancy Nancy was about.I would give a 5 because I read thousands of Fancy Nancy books and I can tell it will be great. How I found this book my brother Michael asks me? Well, I have gotten that question many times. My answer is my sister Gianna. Some may say really? Yes my sister is always looking at EVERYTHING constantly. So when she sees something she likes she always recomends to me first. After I always read her sweet coments like"I love you sis."I am always ready for more Gigi!

The story is a typical 'Fancy Nancy' adventure of words, but the ending left disappointment. In other stories Nancy is carefree and proud, but in this story she ends up overly concerned about an impromptu haircut result. The solution is to hide it. I prefer the old Nancy who seems to like herself no matter what. At the end of the story it seems that the solution is to make everyone look the same...which is also problematic. I purchased this for my granddaughter and I'm concerned about the lessons that could be found.
