This collection of short stories deal with the universal themes of hate and fear. There is a story of drought that deals with both water and the consumption of the human spirit. A second story deals with the escape from family violence while the third story deals with the broken spirit of being trapped in a broken relationship. Through examining these feelings, there is also an undercurrent of hope and escape and the possibilities that exist in the world for all of us.
