Am an author having published two other books in 2009, a non-fiction on psychotherapy and a fictional mystery.
Was a psychotherapist for thirty-two years at the doctoral level primarily in private practice, as well as, in hospital, corporate, and community mental health settings, and in forensics as an expert witness at court. Worked with adults and adolescents specializing in reconstructive therapy for victims of chronic abuse and trauma.
Prior to my clinical experiences, was an aerospace engineer in companies such as, MIT Lincoln Laboratories, TRW Systems, and Lockheed Sanders. Was a proposal manager on a number of management volumes for major spacecraft programs and wrote many technical sections. Conducted numerous organizational development courses and facilitated physicists and engineers in presenting technical seminars, program design reviews, and motivational programs. Wrote technical articles and books for use within the corporate environment.
Developed and conducted seminars and workshops in subjects such as, employee motivation, therapeutic methods, program management, and group dynamics.
Taught proposal writing for program engineering managers, was a school teacher at the secondary level, and tutored children and adults in English. Conducted a choir and sang as a soloist before large and small audiences.
Was in the US Navy for four years during the Korean War; honorably discharged.
