Overview

Fatal Charm (The Seer Series #5) by Linda Joy Singleton

In this vivid fifth volume of The Seer series, Sabine Rose is reunited with her ill grandmother Nona and her friends at Sheridan Valley. But the excitement of curing Nona-and discovering love with someone new-doesn't outweigh the burden of her father's dark secret: a daughter no one but Sabine knows about. Riddled with curiosity, Sabine uses astral projection to spy on her half sister Jade. And then one night-while out of body-she witnesses a gruesome murder! The victim appears to be Jade's mother, but the next day reveals she is very much alive. Was it all a terrible nightmare? A puzzling psychic message, feelings for two different guys, building resentment towards her father and Jade-it's almost too much to bear. And when the killer from her nightmare turns out to be real, Sabine finds she must open her heart to the person she trusts the least.

About the Author

With plots involving twins, cheerleaders, ghosts, psychics and clones, Linda Joy Singleton has published over 25 midgrade and YA books.

When she's not writing, she enjoys life in the country with a barnyard of animals including horses, cats, dogs and pigs. She especially loves to hear from readers and speaking at schools and libraries. She collects vintage series books like Nancy Drew, Trixie Belden and Judy Bolton.

When Linda is asked why she'd rather write for kids than adults, she says, "I love seeing the world through the heart of a child, where magic is real and every day begins a new adventure. I hope to inspire them to reach for their dreams. Writing for kids is a gift, a responsibility, and an honor."

I could'nt even start to tell you how upset i was when this ended and the next one did'nt come out yet. But with this seer they find they are timed in how long nona will have left before she loses her memory. In all the seers boks excluding magicians muse this is my favorite by far. Once again the author writes so beautifully it makes the book even better than it already is. Thank-you Linda for another great book :)

i totally recommend this series to whoever. it is about a girl trying to hide her secret (she's psychic!) from her friends. it is really enjoyable and fun. its funny AND scary. i recommend the entire series and i cant wait for the next one to come out, and the spin-off series about sabine's friend, thorn. i also recommend gilda joyce: psychic investigator by jennifer allison, premonitions by jude watson, dead is the new black by marlene perez, tattoo by jennifer lynn barnes, and the mediator series by meg cabot.

Linda is such an awsome writer. I copy a lot of stuff from books so try and find a me blond with a black streak. The series is absolutoly amazing. You are always kept guessing and wondering. I 700% recoment it for everyone into magic and frightening things because I was even scared a little when I read this series.

The start of the book keeps you on pins and needles becuase of this secret sister Sabine knows nothing about and is terrified of letting the rest of her family know. With this Sabine heads back and reunites with both crushes. I love the path the book follows because Sabine is starting to accept the fact that theres something series in her feelings for Dominic and when they go on a trip to find the final charm, the charm is not all they find!
