Fatal Honor is the second book in Misty Evans’ Shadow Force International series. Once again Ms. Evans has crafted a strong story around Miles and Charlotte who are strong, independent characters that are able to handle any situation that comes up, but together their strengths compliment each other. Ms. Evans definitely knows how to combine the right amount of suspense, intrigue and action combined with a little romance that keeps me absorbed from the first page to the last. I look forward to the next book in this great series. *** I received an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review that is my own. ***

4.5 Stars This book is a keep you in the edge of your seat one. The twists and turns keep you so engrossed in the book that don't resurface until your finished with the book. I so love this series and the tight knit group that SFI are. I loved the characters in this one. Charlotte what will she has. Her life hasn't been easy and she's been through so much, but that fateful day she rescued Miles changes her life forever because soon she has a champion in her corner. Miles is great hero material. Just alone how he is with Charlotte wins me over. The action and mystery are great. There were points I had stop for a second because I couldn't bear to see what was coming next, but just had to read to see what happens. Can't wait for more from this series.

Once again Misty Evans delivers a story that has the perfect mix of romance, suspense, action, and intrigue. The characters were well developed, the plot was believable, and I love the author’s writing style and voice. Charlotte and Miles were great characters on their own, but together they were just fabulous. Both are highly skilled and trained agents, competent and capable, and able to protect and defend themselves. Together they had a chemistry that took all that to the next level. Even when Miles was trying to protect Charlotte and take the lead, he never minimized her ability to contribute or handle anything on her own (although I think Charlotte may disagree with me a bit on that point!) There was always an underlying current of sexual tension between Charlotte and Miles which kept the sparks flying between these two. The addition of Charlotte’s gypsy background added a wonderful layer to the book and has me wanting to know more about Charlotte’s relatives in the Carpathian Mountains! Once again the secondary characters in the book added additional depth and color to the story, and it was great to catch up with some of the characters we met in Fatal Truth, the first book in the series. Beatrice still remains one of my all-time favorite heroines – even in a supporting role she often times steals the scene…I just love her! Watching the SFI agents when they work together is always a treat, from their unique personalities to the camaraderie and trust you can feel between the agents. Fatal Honor was a wonderful second installment in her Shadow Force International series and has me anxiously awaiting the next book. Fatal Honor and the SFI series are perfect for anyone looking for a great romantic suspense book and series. The romance and suspense are woven into a wonderfully delivered plot that has plenty of intrigue and action that should appeal to just about anyone! I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.

I will leave others to give a synopsis play by play of the plot of Fatal Honor. When I first started the book I was unsure what to expect. It started out with some action right out of the gate! As time went on I found myself invested in the love story of Miles and Charlotte. Their struggle to trust one another and to "protect" each other was a theme throughout. What intrigued me and kept me interested was the increasing suspense/thriller aspect of the story. Not all is as it seems and as the story progresses you find that out. I enjoyed it immensely. I have read Misty's books before and have always enjoyed them. She never fails to disappoint and I look forward to the next book in the Shadow Force International series! **I received an ARC for my honest and unbiased review.**

Fatal Honor is the second book in the Shadow Force series. This book is great for people who love action, mystery and romance rolled in to one story. Fatal Honor will keep you on edge from the first page to the last. It is fast paced with complex protagonists and detailed scenes. This book is based on Miles Duncan an injured Navy Seal and his mission to stop a terrorist and apprehend a rogue M16 operative. The mission goes horribly wrong and he is left at the mercy of a mysterious woman while recovering from serious injuries and waiting for winter in the mountains to pass. Turns out the mystery woman is Agent Butter. (or Sarah or Charlotte) Agent Butter is her code name Sarah is the name she gives to Miles, she is a deadly agent that is running for her life. She is being hunted by Romanian crime lord Nicolae Bourean and M16. Her fellow agents think she has gone rogue and want her dead. Nicolae wants her dead because she escaped his compound and his torture chamber. Sarah gave Miles something very important, something that can prove her innocence, she also needs his help even if she doesn't want to admit it or accept it. Miles knows he shouldn't care about her, but he can't stop himself and even if she doesn't want his help she is stuck with him. Somehow Sarah is being tracked by someone who seems to be just one step behind her, if she and Miles can not return to the mountains with the item he has before they are caught, then Sarah will die and Miles might spend his life in prison. I will not tell spoilers, but there is a lot of action in this book, you are going to want to read it when you have a block of time to read the entire thing because putting it down is not an option. This book is one of my favorites, well written, well researched and suspenseful. Misty is one of my favorite authors because I know when I pick up one of her books, I will not put it down until I have read it all.

Fatal Honor has a bit everything that makes for a great suspenseful romance: intrigue, mystery, action, spies, the ole double cross, and of course snake-bit lovers. Miles is a Navy Seal sent on a simple extraction mission. But when the plane he and his team is in is shot down, Miles, the lone survivor, finds himself alone in a cabin with the much sought after MI6 agent, Charlotte. Charlotte nurses Miles back to health and the couple spend a glorious 6 weeks alone and snowbound in a cabin in Romania until the day she disappears and Miles is rescued. Months later the couple is thrown back together and while the physical attraction is there they both must solve the mission at hand and clear Charlotte's name if they ever stand a chance at happiness. But who can they trust and can they even trust one another? This is book 2 in the series but can be read as a stand alone without missing a beat. 2 thumbs up for a great romantic suspense story that will have you rooting for a happy ending while you are wondering just who to believe and what’s going to happen next. This reader is truly glad she picked up this book and looks forward to going backwards and reading book 1 as well as book 3 when it hits the shelves. The Shadow Force International Agency is a series you DO NOT want to miss.

Miles Duncan encounters Charlotte Carstons when she rescues him after a attack that killed the rest of his Navy Seal team. She was there tracking a Romanian crime lord and saw him bring down their helicopter. M16 thinks she's gone to the dark side. While these two are isolated by fierce winter storms, they become lovers. Suddenly she's gone and he's back in the States. Will he ever see his lover again? Charlotte is such a feisty, fearless woman. She has endured pain and torture, but she won't give up. I liked her. Miles has survivor's guilt. He feels that he betrayed his team. He wants vengeance and he wants to find the woman he fell in love with. Fatal Honor is an amazing story. The action is non-stop and is filled with unexpected twists that pulled me into this adventure. I wanted justice to prevail and the evil Nico to be stopped. I especially enjoyed seeing the other members of Shadow Force come to their aid. I loved this action packed story . The romance, the danger and the treachery were addictive. Misty Evans wrote a suspenseful story that kept me on the edge of my seat. I can't wait for the next book. I received a copy in exchange for an honest and unscripted review.

Charlotte and Mile's story will grab you from page one , their love starts off in cabin when she nurses him back to health after the helicopter he was in blew up . They part ways when she disappears ans he goes back to the states. She is on the run from a drug lord and MI6 because they think she turned, she goes to the states to find Mile's for he has the key to her proof that she is innocent. He has been looking for he because he cant get her out of his mind , together they go after the truth . There is twist and turns in this book that make you not want to put it down. I can not wait for the next one in the series to come out ! Wish I could write a better review but Hence I am not a writer lol just a book lover but this is a book to read if you like romance with suspense

Misty Evans does very wonderful and unique things with her romantic suspense stories. This one starts off right in the middle of some very exciting action, and it doesn't let up. These characters are extremely tough, and are put through the ringer. The villains are creepy, the good guys are practically superheroes, and even the story settings are extreme. It was all perfect! I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Great Book! This is a great book; this is the second book in the Shadow Force International series by Misty Evans. Charlotte Carstons is a British Intelligence officer and needs to stop a Romanian crime lord; she must track down former Navy Sea Miles Duncan and ask him for help to prove that she is no traitor. Miles works as an operative for Shadow Force International and has been searching for Charlotte. It is believed that she may be responsible for the deaths of his Seal teammates a year ago. They must work together to find out what really happened and keep her safe. If you are looking for a great book then you need to read this one. I am looking forward to the next book by this great author. A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

Fatal Honor by Misty Evans took me on an international adventure! Charlotte, a British Intelligence officer, has been branded a traitor. She's fighting to clear her name, at the same time trying to stay undetected. She needs help, and there's only one person she thinks can help her. Miles is a former SEAL now working for Shadow Force International. Charlotte saved him once...is it his turn to help save her now? I really enjoyed everything about this book. I liked how Misty Evans takes us right into Charlotte and Mile's story from the start. In a small cabin in the Carpathian Mountains, Charlotte and Miles become closer as she helps him recover. They don't talk about their pasts or who they really are...even though they each know. They are just together, and the pace of the growth of their relationship over these 6 weeks was just right. When Charlotte disappears and Miles is rescued, he's not sure if he'll ever see her again. In dual POV's, Misty takes us right into action when Charlotte and Miles finally come together again. There is no hiding who they are now, no hiding that danger chases Charlotte. The chemistry is still hot between Miles and Charlotte, and as trust is built and a connection is strengthened, I liked how Miles and Charlotte were with each other. They are both strong, determined main characters torn by loyalty, the need for truth and justice, and their feelings for each other. I liked that they didn't play games with each other and I could feel the connection building along with the attraction between them. There is tension, conflict, danger, and unexpected twists and turns in Fatal Honor. The romance and suspense are strongly woven together in a believable way. Misty's smooth, well paced writing with vivid descriptions kept me mesmerized. I couldn't wait to see how all the different angles of this plot would turn out. The secondary characters, particularly the other Shadow Force International operatives, are a great addition who add depth and character to the plot. I liked how they are involved and their characteristics are perfect! With a unique, interesting plot that makes you think it just might happen, I'd recommend Fatal Honor by Misty Evans to any romantic suspense reader. I received a free copy for an honest review.

SFI is on another adventure. Miles' helicopter is shot down in Romania and he saved by a beautiful woman. He realizes that she is the agent that MI6 has been looking for, but he doesn't let on that he knows who she is. They are snowed in for weeks and fall in love during that time. She leaves him and makes sure that he is rescued. Months later she comes to him and he doesn't care is she is a traitor to her country, he just misses her and want to help her any way he can. He does find out that things aren't always what they seem. He will do anything he has to to clear her name and hunt down the man who killed his teammates.

Fatal Honor by Misty Evans is the second book in her Shadow Force International romantic suspense series. It is filled with action, international crimes, terrorists, complex characters, twists that kept me turning the pages to find out what was going to happen next, and hot, steamy romance that scorched the pages. It was great seeing Trace, Parker and Henley again and to be introduced to new SFI members that I hope to see in future books. I loved it and was so sad when it ended because now I know I have to wait before I get to be back with the men and women of SFI. If you enjoy a fast paced story filled with action and romance, please give this book a try. You won't be disappointed.

I loved this book! Once more, the author has created a tightly crafted romantic suspense novel that kept me on the edge of my seat. Sarah is an MI6 operative that has switched her allegiance to the enemy. Miles is a SEAL on a mission when his helicopter is blown out of the sky. He is the only survivor and owes his survival to Sarah's rescue. Then she disappears and he tries everything to find her. He never went back to the teams, instead joining Shadow Force International - an private group of elite and highly trained operatives. Before long, Miles is emmeshed in her troubles and trying to find a way out that will lead to a happy ending. What follows is a phenomenal tale crossing continents as they pursue the truth in an engaging novel of international intrigue. Fans of the genre will love this book, and, if you're not a fan, this might just change your mind. While this book is part of a series, it is a stand alone novel. They're so good, though, that you really owe it to yourself to read them all.

Fatal Honor is a fast paced romantic suspense with imperfect good guys and truly repugnant bad guys, twists and turns that will keep you flipping pages. Fatal honor reads like a spy movie. Strap in and hold on you are in for a wild ride.
