3.75 fun and flirty:  FEARLESS is the latest contemporary romance novella  from author Tawny Weber.  The premise follows Gia Renyard as she embarks on a fantasy weekend to seduce a man who doesn't know she exists.  With the help of her three best friends, Gia gets a head to toe make over to disguise her appearance hoping that her co-worker and crush Luke Monroe will not recognize the woman about to rock his world.  But little did Gia know that the fantasy she had planned would become her reality when her heart begins to feel so much more. Fearless is a Cinderella story where the hard working girl who doesn't take chances goes for the one man out of her league and her social circle. Gia has been infatuated with Luke for a long while, and when she discovers that Luke will be in Vegas for a meeting, her three friends convince Gia to make all of Luke's and her fantasies come to life.  But returning home to the real world, Gia will come face to face with reality when she is re- introduced to her new boss. Tawny Weber walks the reader through one woman's fantasy and dream of seducing the man she has always wanted. We get up close and personal as they explore the wilder side of letting go and having fun in the bedroom.  The storyline is not sexually explicit but one that will pull the reader into the sensual and sexual antics of two people getting to know one another's body, heart and mind. They say 'what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas' but that doesn't always apply when the heart and mind are focused on only one thing. The relationship between Gia and Luke develops quickly.  Gia is on a mission and when Luke makes his approach, Gia is waiting and the game begins.  Fearless is a story of seduction and the compatibility of two people who would have probably never come together in the real world. Both characters are relatable and likeable but the reality of the situation would probably never happen knowing that come Monday morning, you will have to face your weekend fantasy in the boardroom knowing full well that you left your panties somewhere in the room back at the hotel. ;)

My Thoughts: I went into this intrigued by the premise of a forbidden work romance. And I was thinking it would appeal to me because of all the New Adult I've been reading lately; Women's Fiction should surely be just as good, right? Unfortunately, not so much for me. Don't get me wrong, it was an interesting and appealing story. Gia and Luke have a very nice romance throughout. What I didn't like were a few things. One of them being that it was told in the third person, not just Gia's perspective, but also Luke's. I'm just not a fan of that. That aside, the way the story progressed just wasn't working for me. It didn't keep my attention to the point where I found myself inadvertently skimming to get somewhere. Then add on the way everything wrapped up in the end and I was just like, okaaay. Not that it was bad, just too easy, too expected. Me reading it: "Yep. Knew that was coming. That too." That kind of thing. Fearless may not have been the type of book I expected upon going into it, but I did enjoy the story. The interactions and passion between Gia and Luke were great, they made the story worthwhile. I can say that Tawny Weber is definitely able to craft a cute story. I'd say give it a try if you like books in this category. My Rating: Pretty Good

4.0 Star Review – FEARLESS I recommend this book. I enjoyed this book by Tawny. This book includes Erotic fun, passion, laughs, heartache, betrayal and sweet revenge in this story. If you found out your fantasy worthy crush was leaving the company would you try and get a chance to seduce him? Even if it meant going out of your comfort zone in order to do it? I think most of us would. Gia Reynard has a job at Tri-Solutions which she likes but there is a hot guy also working there Luke Monroe, the company golden boy, that she likes but the company has a fraternization policy that prohibits relationships. So one night when she and her three closest friends are having a gab fest she blurts out she would love to get with Luke before he leaves the company. A plan of action is called for and the girls devise the plan. Gia will do a quick makeover so no one will recognize her and she will seduce Luke while he is in Las Vegas. All goes according to plan Gia seduces Luke as “Vanna” and she gets her man. They are both enjoying the benefits of the seduction until they both start having real feelings for each other. Gia flees before Luke awakens. Luke is hurting after she bailed as he thought they had something special. When Gia returns to work she is promoted and is now working under Luke. Terrified that Luke will recognize her she telecommutes and finally just backs out of the project. Luke figures out “Vanna” is really Gia and is furious until overhearing gossip about someone who was sleeping with someone else and was let go. Gia is escorted to Luke’s office when she realizes he knows about “Vanna” and he decides a little sweet revenge is in order. Now if they could just make this work. ***ARC provided by author in exchange for an honest review***

Fun Sexy Fast Paced Read When I heard Harlequin was doing Cosmo Red Hot reads, I was intrigued. I wondered how they would compare to the regular Harlequin blazes. I was concerned they would not have a good story. Well, Fearless put those concerns to bed (pardon the pun). This was a fast paced book, full of sexy fun and great heat between the two characters. Gia wants to cut loose and have a memory. Luke is her crush. When they meet in Vegas, with Gia masking her appearance because she feels she could never get someone like Luke, its instant heat and flames. After a sexy fun filled weekend, that turns out to be more than great sex and fireworks, Gia sneaks off and returns to the real world. But the weekend has consequences. Both of them see themselves and each other in a different light. When they meet again on a work assignment, Luke does not recognize Gia and Gia, still self-conscious, hides her true self. I won’t share the rest but I loved the arc of finding and accepting who you are and being true to yourself. A message I never expected to find in such a fun, sexy, fast-paced read. I hope she does spin-offs with the other characters!!!

My rating: 3.5 of 5¿ Gina Renyard has a good job, nice apartment and awesome friends. She just has a ho-hum sex life. She and her three friends get together regularly for girls' nights and will talk about everything, except, Gina doesn't have that much to talk about. When she lets drop that she has a bit of a crush on a co-worker who barely notices her, the girls spring into action to help Gina get one fantasy weekend of hot sex with drool-worthy Luke Monroe. Looking around the Vegas nightclub, Luke's eyes come to a screeching halt when they reach the gorgeous, sultry redhead coming right at him. In town for a convention, he welcomes the unexpected distraction. Without exchanging any particulars other than first names, hers is Vanna, Luke and his redhead spend some pleasurable time together. Surprisingly they also had really connected just talking, but then one morning she was just gone. Gina could not believe she had pulled it off, Luke had been amazing and he was actually a very nice guy. But she had gotten scared of the possibility of being exposed, so she ran. Back home, back to her own hair colour, her own clothes, her own nose ring..........and her job. Gina tries hard to avoid Luke, but it seems the fates are against her, because when she is called in to work on a new project, Luke is her boss. Who will he see when he looks at her? ******* An enjoyable quick read, not too challenging, but with enough bite and catchy dialogue to make it interesting. Add in a little challenge to the character, a little show of growth and development, some serious yummy skin, spicy sex scenes and you have an excellent few hours of diversion. A fun, hot little number!!!! **ARC courtesy of NetGalley and Harlequin in return for an honest review"
