Noel-Anne Brennan has had poetry published in literary magazines and journals and has written for magazines and newspapers. She is the author of the nonfiction "The Goodspeed Opera House", Waverly Press, 1972. Her published fiction includes "Winter Reckoning", Donald Grant, 1986, "The Sword of the Land", Ace Books, 2003, "The Blood of the Land", Ace Books 2004, and "Daughter of the Desert", Ace Books 2006. She was a finalist for the Romantic Times Award for "The Sword of the Land" in 2003. She teaches at a university. She is also involved with conservation and was once a wind-generator dealer and installer. Yes, she had a hard hat. She lives with her family and cats in southern Rhode Island. Occasionally, in her spare time, she sleeps.
