A playful and enjoyable story with a little bit of mischief thrown in for fun. It was refreshing having a heroine that was a bit older than the typical 20 something I'm used to seeing in books.  But just because she was older didn't mean her life was any more pulled together. After a drunken night at her cousins wedding Megan definitely got more than she bargained for when she couldn't keep her hands to herself. Now her life is full of magical beings including one very hunky but angry leprechaun and all the trouble that comes with him. All the Irish names and the business talk got a little hard to follow in some spots but the odd and colorful characters especially Megan's spunky old neighbor Mrs. C kept it interesting. It was a sweet story that had me smiling at some of the craziness and in my opinion is absolutely worth a read.

This book was a gift from the author and Paranormal Romance & Authors That Rock for an honest review. This book is about a middle aged woman and her cousin's wedding having a little fun. She pinches the bum of the band leader. Who knew he was a leprechaun and she would catch him by doing that. It took me a bit to get into this book but i did enjoy it. The tension between Fergus and Megan is cute. At first he just wants his money back. She is attracted to him and confused. This book was funny and cute. I enjoyed it. The book is well written and engaging.

Fun, Fresh Romance and Humor I finished reading this book last evening, and I must say I really enjoyed the author's imagination and fresh voice, full of humor and fun. And there were lots of plot twists and turns to keep the reader hooked. It was refreshing to read a book set in the mid-West of the U.S. in a small town. The author really brought the feel of the town alive, and created convincing characters to populate it. The economic stimulus part of the story was interesting as well. It added to our understanding of and compassion for the main character. Leprechauns and fairies are fresh and fun elements in a romance story. The author fleshes out the details about the mythology bit by bit, not overwhelming the reader with information. We learn about them right along with the main character, Megan. And the romance part works too! Handsome, charismatic, charming, temperamental Fergus keeps the reader guessing as to what is going on in his Leprechaun mind. But when he finally makes his move, things heat up quickly. Lucky Megan!

I went out of my PNR comfort zone to read this book, usually it’s vampires and witches that strike my interest but when I read that leprechauns were involved I was intrigued.  This story was a modern take on some aspects of Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream.  There is some romance but more than anything the entire book revolved around what to do or not to do with the money Megan acquired from pinching Fergus’ ass and him trying to trick her into releasing the money back to him. The tale was cute and had some humorous parts – mostly involving Fergus trying to get his money back.  The scenes between Fergus and Megan were my favorite; I just wish there had been more romance and interaction between them.  The story is chock full of leprechauns and fairies, you’d expect a lot of magic involved but there isn’t; the magical creatures are mostly humanized with “fae” quirks.  There are no magical rainbows, pots of gold, or fairy dust in this story but it was definitely a quick humorous read.  So leave all of your preconceived notions about the fae world at the door when you open this book and you will enjoy it.  I just had to find out if Megan and Fergus get their HEA and who gets the money!
