Loved it.

I have loved the whole series. The author keeps you involved in the lives of the characters. I think the next series that involves 5th Street will be great.

I was wrong, this is my favorite! Ok maybe tie for first. Omg i laughed. I cried. I blushed. And I'm still smiling. This is one of the best romance books I've read! A bitter sweet ending to the series. But a great ending non the less.

Great book to finish the 5th street series. Best book of the series in my opinion. We had to wait for Felix to get his book, but it was worth the wait. Great job as always by author Elizabeth Reyes.

I have been waiting for Felix's story and I was not disappointed. Some parts were reptitive but this was my favorite in the series. I loved felix and ella and the story line. It wad constant up and down through the book I couldn't put it down. I'm happy reyes gave insight to the other characters as well. Great read

Reviewed by: Celia Rating: 2 stars Review: When I think of a boxing story, I think of Sylvester Stallone in that movie, Rocky, with its lame protagonist, overbearing machismo, and flimsy story line with endless theatrics. And I thought Felix was bound to be the same. Just by the cover alone, you can tell a central focus would be on muscle and manliness. Are we trying to overcompensate here? Felix is the story of a has-been boxing champion, who, like many has-beens, has spiraled out of control and is going nowhere. As anticipated, Felix is a prideful, conceited, arrogant jackass. I don’t see what could be attractive about this guy. Quite frankly the fact that he was a drinker and a smoker was a turn off for me. The story progressed rather slowly, centering mostly on a tantalizing romance and a head-strong decision to get back in the ring. All they could talk about was boxing. Obviously, the author was a die-hard fan of it; not me. The romance was exemplary of many of Reyes’ books. In fact, I became a devout reader of Eli Reyes after checking out The Moreno Brother series. Unfortunately, almost every novel since then has been the same, following the same standard formula. The 5th Street series has been a good change of pace for this author. If you like romance and boxing, then this is the series for you. But, in this reviewer’s opinion, you might be better off renting Rocky, because it’s the same basic story line.

This book made me want to pull my hair out. Not in a bad way, though. In the past books of the 5th Street series, Felix seemed unreachable because of his status. He’s the one you wouldn’t see more of, except in Gio. That made the anticipation almost unbearable. He seemed like this mysterious-but-not-really guy. Being inside Felix’s head felt like a huge relief. Finally I could see how his mind worked, what he was thinking, what he really thought about how other people perceived him. It felt nice to finally understand him. I liked his character well, although it would have been nice to see something in him that is different with the other 5th street guys. So far, they were all alpha, hot-headed when it comes to other guys near their girls, the jealous and possessive type. I was looking for something in his personality that would make him unique, but I didn’t see that. The thing that made me want to pull my hair out the most is Ella. She’s great and all that, but she was really frustrating at times. Some of her actions really got in my nerves. The twists and turns in this book are very unexpected. I think it’s the best plot twist Elizabeth Reyes has written yet. Save the best for last, right? *winks* However, I wasn’t satisfied with how fast things went from there on. The plot twist could have wrenched my heart, but the words lacked enough emotions to really get to me. Everything happened so fast—literally. I would have liked to linger in that emotional state and feel the emotions of the character in their predicament, but I wasn’t allowed to do that because the story was fast-paced and before I know it everything was done. It was like I just breezed through it because of how it is written—how fast the narration went. For someone like me who needed a heavy dose of drama before my emotions locker can produce some serious feelings towards a book, the fast-paced narration of the characters’ predicament didn’t get to me that well. Felix is another roller-coaster ride constructed by Elizabeth Reyes. It will make you laugh, frustrated, laugh again, get all giddy from all the sweetness, and it might even squeeze out a good measure of tears. All that’s left for me to say is I’m very sad to see the series end. I can already feel the nostalgia coming. ~ Zee

5 emotionally charged, exciting, romantic, passionate, all-consuming stars! It's with tears in my eyes that I write this review. This story was an emotional roller coaster ride of emotions, and it made me cry more than once. But that is not the reason I have tears rolling down my face. It's because this is the final installment of a series that has owned my heart since the first time I read the first installment. Elizabeth Reyes' 5th Street series has completely stolen my heart and I feel like Noah, Gio, Hector, Abel, Felix and the whole crew are more than fictional characters. They are a part of my life. They are my family. They have made me live so many beautiful emotions. I have suffered of many books hangover and I was caught many times rereading these books. When people ask me what makes me read a book more than once, I always answer the same way. I reread it because I want to feel every single emotion just like I did the very first time I read it. And, that is exactly the feeling that I get when I go back and read these books. My stomach is full of butterflies, my blood is on fire and I'm an emotional mess every.single.time. Elizabeth Reyes' writing style is captivating and unforgettable! I have been waiting for this book for a very long time! I knew that this last installment was going to be big! It's freakin' EPIC!!!! I had high expectations for Felix. Elizabeth Reyes' delivers every.single.time. Prepare to meet the Pride of East Los Angeles and Mighty Little Miss Ella. When these two are introduced at the 5th Street gym, the last thing they expected was to fall for each other. Felix has been burned in the past, but Ella makes him want more. As the days go by, their relationship grows into an intense and passionate love story. When unexpected obstacles come knocking on the door, will the world famous boxing champ recover from the punch that life decided to deliver? I have to admit that I was not a fan of Felix. He was introduced in Gio, which is the second installment of the 5th Street Series. I felt weird not liking him because I knew that eventually he was going to get his own book. The fans of this series wanted his story, and I am so glad he decided to show up in the writing cave. The more the series was advancing, the more I wanted his book! I can't imagine him not having is own story now. Do you know why? Because it's my all-time favorite book from Elizabeth Reyes. When I read Abel's book it left me breathless. Nellie and Abel have been sitting nice and comfy at the top of my favorite couple list, but guess what? It's time to add two extra seats at the top of that list. Ella and Felix are moving in! They ROCK!!! These two have some SERIOUS hot chemistry!! *Fan Self* I loved every single minute of my reading escape! I read it in one sitting because I simply could not put it down! Ella and Felix have been through so much! I was a complete mess when secrets of the past were revealed and when life changing obstacles were heading their way. These are two individuals that fell hard for one another and never looked back. Their love is intense, passionate, romantic and breathtakingly beautiful! Their connection is so strong and their love is inspiring. When the new covers for the 5th Street Series were revealed I was ecstatic! I find that each of the covers represent these Alphas perfectly. When the cover for Felix was revealed I knew that that cover was speaking loud and clear. It showed me the REAL Felix. Strong, determined and he has a heart of gold! Ella was the perfect woman for Felix. She trusted him with her heart and even if they had to overcome some obstacles, he was always by her side. This story made me feel it all. I was even angry!!! Ella's ex-boyfriend, Grayson, completely made me lose it! I was ready to jump in my reading device and deliver two or three or ten virtual slaps! He made me so freakin' mad!!! You know who had a few memorable scenes? Hector!!!!!! Sweet Jesus! I love him to pieces!!! He made this story so much fun! This was the best way to close the 5th Street series. The epilogue left me with a happy smile and, happy tears as well! It was such a beautiful gift for the readers that have been following these couples since the very beginning. The 5th Street Family will forever and always have a place in my heart. I see many rereads in the near future and I am crossing my fingers that all the 5th Street kids will get their own HEA. I'm especially crossing my fingers for a Jack and Reina book. These two could get in all kinds of good trouble! Gahhhhhhh!!!! Por favor!!! Please!!! Try to make an appearance in the writing cave?!?!?! I give, Felix, by Elizabeth Reyes 5 emotionally charged, exciting, romantic, passionate, all-consuming stars!

Felix by Elizabeth Reyes 5th Street Series Book #5 Felix Sanchez has it all. The cars, the homes, the money and women. He rose to the top in his boxing career at a young age and now it seems he would rather party than work. He is a publicity agent's nightmare, unless they are female...then he's a erotic dream. He dates the top of the line of beautiful woman. So what it is about the plain girl at 5th Street Gym that has his heart skipping a beat? Rafaela 'Ella' Castellano has trudged forward through many tragedies in her life and continues to move forward. Her mother had taught her never to quit fighting, so she hasn't. While teaching self-defense classes at the gym, she is introduced to Felix. Yes he is more handsome than she could ever imagine, but she knows his type. Or does she really know him at all? All our friends from the earlier 5th Street books are back. And yes, it still seems even though Hector has matured...his mouth still takes off without his brain being engaged first. The team is working to get Felix back into shape and on top of his game. If you have read the previous books; Noah, Gio, Hector and Abel then you have met Felix. Can this playboy hotshot superstar truly stick to one woman? The odds seems slim to none. **Sexual content and language

Wow!! This is bittersweet. I am to excited to have read Felix but sad all the same because it is the final book... This book is amazing just like the rest of the 5th Street series!! Felix is a such and emotional love story, tears will definitely fall as some point while reading.. I love Ella in this book, but sometimes I wished I could yell at her for doing things she knew Felix would get angry about. I never expected Felix to be such and emotional read... They took you on a up and down ride of emotions.. THIS IS TRULY A MUST READ!!

Felix is so broken he is spiraling out of control. His life is a complete mess and he makes one bad choice only to top it with another one even worse. Until Ella. She is his reason to strive to be more, to be a better man, to believe that he can once again become someone worthwhile. Ella's strength was amazing. Her reliance on her mother's memory becomes the backbone of that strength. When her world crumbles down around her she finds that not only is her mom's strength there for her but Felix is unwavering, devoted and willing to carry her when she can't walk the road on her own. I was so impressed with her complete acceptance of Felix's love that all the tabloids in the world couldn't begin to shake her. The epilogue is all that your heart could want. We get to see that these men of the 5th Street series are truly brothers. They make up a family that is beyond the boundaries of blood. This is the culmination of all that is perfect about Elizabeth Reyes' writing. Well done Elizabeth, you deserve a standing ovation and thank you for sharing your amazing talent with the rest of us. Highly recommended author and series Adult read

Once again Elizabeth Reyes did not disappoint!  Felix and Ella were a roller coaster of emotions and I loved it! ! I was pretty skeptical about Felix when reading Gio and I have to say that Felix swept me off my feet. Felix and Ella made me laugh, cry, gasp, frown, and made me blush. I love the 5th street family :)

I loved it!! The 5th street series is one of my favorite series, so I am sad to see it end. But Felix was a perfect way to end an amazing series. I love the characters and it was great to see what my favorite 5th street characters were up to. I was always fascinated with Felix, ever since I read Gio. And wow what a story he has. I cried, laughed, smiled, and swooned while reading his story. The storyline was unique and fabulous. I was completely hooked and couldn’t put down the book. It is a must read! <3

It ended up being a good story and got pretty dang emotional near the end. I had a hard time wanting to continue reading this because I mostly found it boring, but am glad I did because of the ending. I wasn't crazy about the repetitive internal monologues and I ended up skimming a lot. Felix did a lot to change for Ella, but Ella just wouldn't give up her ex knowing that Felix is uncomfortable with their continued relationship/friendship and that bugged the crap out of me. This is the only one in the series I've read and it was a bit confusing at times with all of the different characters, but it's a stand alone book so no need to read the others.

I have read all of Elizabeth Reyes' books and can safely say that I love all of them, most especially Breaking Brandon from her Fate series.  If you have a chance to, please pick that one up.  But this book, as I mentioned to other members of Elizabeth's street team, has jumped over all of her other books to land at #2 on my list of favorite Elizabeth Reyes books.  This is the end of her 5th Street series but what a ride!  Felix, it seems has always been on the outer edges of the previous stories and I'm not sure if that was intentional.  I guess the mystery is what made this book so good.  You didn't know what was going on in Felix's life and when you do find out, it's a roller coaster of emotions.  Ella, the book's heroine, has her own drama and what drama it is but for whatever reason, unlike the other heroines in the other books, she did not stand out as much to me as the book's subject.  That's not a bad thing because trust me, when you read about Ella, you'll want to wrap her up and put her somewhere she is safe from the world.  These two people desperately needed a HEA so read Felix and find out if they do.  Love, love, love this book and can't wait for whatever Elizabeth has in store for us later.
