In "The Female Offender" we see the manner in which Lombroso applies the anthropological method. He examines whether, and to what extent, the female criminal differs from the average woman in bodily and mental characteristics. As a result of this examination he arrives at many interesting conclusions as to the personal or individual conditions which are calculated to turn women into offenders against criminal law.
