Five days after the sinking of the Titanic, Boston's Fenway Park held its grand opening. Since that day, millions have witnessed the Red Sox play baseball. Their "Royal Rooters" evolved into the "Fenway Faithful" and are now commonly referred to as "Red Sox Nation." David Hickey, Raymond Sinibaldi, and Kerry Keene are all Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) members and have collectively authored seven books and numerous newspaper/magazine articles, hosted sports radio shows, and consulted on the Ted Williams Jimmy Fund statue. Relying heavily on the photographic archives of the Boston Public Library, they have woven the story of Fenway in a magical tapestry of heartbreak, hope, joy, love, and faith.
