Fierce On The Page by Sage Cohen is 225 pages of sound and scintillating writer’s advice on marketing your writing. From the red, black & green high art cover to the sometimes playful, sometimes deep anecdotal evidence, Cohen shares her path, humbly and with such a bittersweetness. It is a page turner. I’ve been reviewing poetry chapbooks these last few months and I wasn’t sure what I was in for, when I measured the thickness of this book. To be honest, I was dubious about the chore at hand! Sage Cohen’s writing is so engaging, I read Fierce On The Page in its entirety, enjoying it immensely and finished feeling encouraged and stoked to work harder and more creatively at marketing not only my poetry but my other writing as well. Two thumbs up for Fierce On The Page! It makes me want to let loose with an MGM Lion’s roar.
