"You will always be fifteen, just like everyone else here."
"But, where are the adults, the babies, the cities?"
"There are none. It’s just the castle, the forest, the cornfield and us."

Welcome to Fifteen, a world where each inhabitant is fifteen years old and dangerous. The laws of this strange world demand that boys and girls remain mortal enemies and these laws are upheld with cold-blooded determination.

When Akeem and his best friend Quinn find themselves in the world of Fifteen, they become opponents on opposite sides of an endless war. Though separated, they have the same goal, to find each other and find a way home but their friendship is forbidden and they would face a death sentence if their true feelings for one another are ever discovered. Will Akeem risk the wrath of the collective to find Quinn or will he save his own life by hunting her down?

LOVED this book. THe main characters were sucked into a golden cube by a hand after a crazy lady drops it and they take the cube home. At first I was wasnt sure this was anything that I was going to find appealing, BUT the main character Quinn and Akeem end up in Fif15teen and then the story really picks up. I had a hard time putting this one down and even woke up at 3 am one night and had to start reading...finished in 3 days. LOVED this!

This book was so marvelous.. I didn't expect what would happen next it kept me on my toes. The end killed me.. I was aching to know what would happen next. I even introduced it to one of the teachers who makes the decisions for the summer reading and she said she's whiling to make it one of the summer reading books for the sophomores. Finally a book in the summer reading that is worth our time.

I read FIF15TEEN this weekend and was very surprised. I wasn't surprised that Nik could write such an amazing book, I was surprised that it kept my attention. I usually have the attention span of a flea on redbull when it comes to fiction, as I am more of a serious type of reader. This book was really fun and I can't wait until the sequel comes out, and it must because I NEED to know what happens to Aly and the rest of the crew! I give it a thumbs up, three snaps and a howl at the moon (that means I loved it!)!!!!

I LOVED it! Some people compare it to Hunger Games, but besides the similar dark tones, Fif15teen is entirely unique. I especially like that Ms. Davies focuses on main characters who are experiencing extremely difficult home lives - while stories like theirs are not very unusual, they're not often portrayed in popular books. I am so captivated by this series, and I cannot wait for the next one to come out.

Wow! What a great read! You will not put this book down. Fifteen reminds me of the Hunger Games except it is not about the haves and the have nots. It is about survival, war, love, hate and these crazy laws that everyone must follow. Loved it!!

This book is great whether you are young or old. Very well written, "real" characters that you can relate to. "Words Above" a lot of the books that I have read lately.
