This story throws you into the life of one artie lang, a recent recruit into the Imperial Militia. He is put up against heretics, orks, and the brutal cold of an unknown planet. It gives you a distinct feel of being in a WWI trench-line, where the only thing you are really waiting for is the next charge, i would absolutely recommend this book.

There is only war. Fifteen Hours captures the essence of this depressing future of mankind perfectly. Surviving the onslaught of aliens and heretics in the year 40,000 is a constant struggle. Especially as a soldier within the Imperial Guard, mankinds main fighting force. The endings are never happy, and the future is seldom bright. Only in death does duty end.

this book is a mix of action and suspence, and is always very detailed to what is going on. the charecters are very unique and creative.

this book was very good. memorable characters, action, and a good story. My problem with it was that the action was alot of talking at most parts and less action.
