What can you say about the singing/songwriting talents of John Waite...the man is brilliant and very much underated. His soulfull, heart-rendering lyrics just say it all. Figure in a Landscape his latest work, opens with the up-tempo, mid-western style/pop song ''Keys to Your Heart'' and then this CD blends soft-rock ballads,pop/rock mid-tempo and a pop/country style songs right up to the last track , Masterpiece of Lonliness which just pours raw emotion and will send shivers up your spine. A must for any John Waite fans and for anyone who wants to listen to very good music.

Great CD from top to bottom. John's voice is still great after all these years. Always be your man, Godhead and fly really stand out for me.

I can not stop listening to this CD. Some of John's best work to date! It has a great mix or kicky rock/pop songs and smooth ballads! ''New York City Girl'' and ''Fly'' are 2 of my favorites. Check out his website for info on him too: johnwaite.com

John Waite has given the world of music a real gem with his latest CD ''Figure in a Landscape.'' Waite has the most stunningly beautiful voice that I've ever heard. He sings passionately from the heart on the eleven great songs on this CD. I loved the CD the first time I heard it, and it just gets better and better each time I listen. The songs really make you want to sing along. My favorite tracks are ''Keys To Your Heart,'' ''Always Be Your Man,'' ''Fly,'' ''Thinking About You,'' ''NYC Girl'' and ''Godhead.'' The songs are a great mix of powerful ballads and lively pop/rock tunes. A couple even have a bit of a country feel to them. You just haven't experienced great music until you've heard John Waite. Don't miss out! I highly recommend this CD to anyone who appreciates superb music.
