First a double live album after only 2 albums. Then a Coke commercial. Then that duet with Vanessa Carlton. Then a credit card commercial. Now a greatest hits album? What's next? A toy Duritz in a happy meal at McDonalds? A reworked Rain King for a new Wal-Mart ad? Is this really how you wanted your careers to turn out? You are just like 90 percent of it out there. Garbage. The difference is you fooled me. Such wasted talent. Good luck in the future. Adam, perhaps you should stick to duets with Nanci Griffith. It was nice having you in my life when you were true to yourselves.

One way or another, there will always be someone out there who is going to criticize what others are doing. They will always feel like they have been let down. But lets be honest with ourselves. It could be alot worse. Adam could be out there ripping someone's costume on public television, just for publicity. Or running to Vegas to get get married just so the tabloids have something to write about. Let's get real. At least the Counting Crows have been able to put out awesome music that never gets old. You can listen to it over and over and never tire of it. Unlike 90% of other musicians. So they didn't realease the "types" of albums you would, but you can't deny they are all albums you bought and you enjoyed. That is what it should boil down to, the music. And I have to say, I have yet to buy an album created by them that is not listened to over and over, song by song and this one is no different. Keep up the good work Adam and co.

...they are above all else a live band. Don't buy this cd. Instead by the two disc live album, and Hard Candy, and This Desert Life. Then go to itunes and buy Omaha, Friend of the Devil, Daylight Fading, Monkey and The Ghost in You (from the Clueless Soundtrack). There you will have the ""The Absolut Best Films...""
