From Wall Street Journal best-selling author Ilsa Madden-Mills comes a new, full-length standalone novel.
A smokin' hot British player. A jilted girl. One night of mistaken identity.
Two weeks before her wedding, Remi Montague's fiancé drops her faster than a drunken sorority girl in stilettos. Armed with her best friend and a bottle of tequila, she hops a plane to London to drown her sorrows before fall semester begins at Whitman University.
She didn't plan on attending a masquerade party. She sure didn't plan on waking up next to the British bad boy who broke her heart three years ago - the devastatingly handsome and naked Dax Blay. Furthermore, she has no clue how they acquired matching tattoos.
Once back at Whitman together, they endeavor to pretend they never had their night of unbridled passion in London. But that's damn hard to do when you live in the same house.
One night. Two damaged hearts. The passion of a lifetime.
A modern love story inspired by Romeo and Juliet. No one dies in the writing of this novel.

After Remi Montague is dumped by her fiancé weeks before their wedding she is absolutely devastated. Not to mention mad as hell. She decides to take her Honeymoon trip to London with her best friend before school begins. In an attempt to have some fun Remi goes to a masquerade party at a club. She ends up bumping into the guy who broke her heart freshman year. She thought he was the forever kind of guy after a weekend of passionate non-stop sex but as soon as the fog cleared Dax Blay left Remi feeling used. For the rest of her time at university Remi did her very best to ignore Dax at all cost. It hurt too much to watch him move on so quickly, seeing the parade of women in and out of his life was heartbreaking. Dax Blay is a man about campus, there was only one girl he ever wanted and he let her slip through his fingers. They shared a weekend of the best sex he has ever had but it was more than that. It was a connection he’s never had with a woman since. Now fate has brought her back into his sights and even though it's clear she hates him and has moved on he can’t stop thinking about her and the time they shared. Can he prove himself worthy of a woman like Remi Montague or is he destined to live the lonely life of a playboy? This is the second book in the English series by Ilsa Madden-Mills and I adored Dax just as much as adored his brother Declan. Remi and Dax’s story played out loosely like a modern day Romeo and Juliet with feuding frat houses and all. It was as very sexy, emotional read. I love Ms. Madden-Mills writing style and look forward to reading more of her work. Dax is sexy, funny and sweet when he wants to be. He hides behind a handsome charmer persona but Remi was the only one to see the real Dax and it scared the hell out of him. He genuinely loves Remi and never stopped. He thinks he is unworthy of the love she can bring him. Remi is torn between what her mind is telling her and what her heart wants. When she finally allows her heart to lead her she finds her way to the love of her life. When Dax realizes that he is worth the risk that loving Remi is the only thing that matters it was pure joy. A fabulous couple I could not put this one down. Remi and Dax have a lasting chemistry that cannot be denied. Definitely, recommend this one another author to add to my favorites list.
