Meet the Author

Nancy A Collins is the author of several novels and numerous short stories, as well as having served a two-year stint as a writer for DC Comics' Swamp Thing. A recipient of the Horror Writers Association's Bram Stoker Award, The British Fantasy Society's Icarus Award, and the Deathrealm Award, as well as a nominee for the Eisner, International Horror Guild & World Fantasy Awards, her works include Knuckles & Tales, Dead Roses For A Blue Lady, Dead Man's Hand, Sunglasses After Dark, and Avenue X. Ms Collins currently makes her home in Atlanta with her dog, Scrapple.

The book had a very big impact on me. Because a couple of days after the movie came out I bought the book. And the book was so better than the movie. I loved it. Now I watch each side of the car when I'm on the freeway.

its neat to watch the movie and then read the book. theres a lot of stuff you discover inside the characters head at the time of great morning and death. very suspencful and entertaing. i reccomend it.
