Overview

Final Incal : Classic Collection: Oversized Deluxe Edition by Alejandro Jodorowsky, Jose Ladronn, Jean Giraud

Lowly class ‘R’ detective John Difool and his faithful companion, Deepo, are unwillingly hurled into yet another universe-saving mission, as their world is faced with the threat of an all-devouring metallic virus.

Visionary storyteller Jodorowsky returns to the epic mythology he created with the late Mœbius in the early 80s. For the conclusion of the legendary spiritual space adventure series, he partners with Eisner-winning artist Ladrönn.

About the Author

Alejandro Jodorowsky (also known as Alexandro Jodorowsky) is a Chilean film and theatre director, screenwriter, playwright, actor, comic book writer, author, poet, mime, musician, and spiritual guru. He is best known for his avant-garde, cult films, such as "El Topo," a midnight movie favorite.

Ladronn grew up drawing and inking in Mexico while idolizing artists such as Mœbius. Ladronn has drawn for Marvel, DC, and several independent publishing houses. He won an Eisner Award for his work on Hip Flask back in 2006. He is currently working on Son of El Topo with frequent collaborator, Alexandro Jodorowsky.

Jean Giraud aka Mœbius was a French artist, cartoonist, and writer, who worked in the Franco-Belgian bandes dessinées tradition. Giraud earned worldwide fame, predominantly under the pseudonym Mœbius, which he used to create a wide range of science fiction and fantasy comics in a highly imaginative and surreal, almost abstract style. Esteemed by Federico Fellini, Stan Lee and Hayao Miyazaki, among many others, he is considered as the most influential bande dessinée artist, and a continued influence to filmmakers and artists around the world.
