How could you not love a book full of beautiful photos and then a hidden puppers?! This was so adorable! The photography was amazing and I loved finding Momo! I also really liked that before each region/section there was a little blurb about various things about their trip together. It made me feel like I was also going on their adventure to all these places!

I love a great book that can span generations of my family and I have one of those to share with you. I remember growing up with those "Where's ...?" So I could not wait to review this book!! I'm really please that I did. My thoughts on this beautiful pictorial book is that it is a fabulous book that the whole family can enjoy. Andrew did a wonderful job with his photographing that you can find something new each time you look at it. I know that I do. We even make it a game to see who find Momo first. I have gone through the book when I had a few minutes here and there since I received it. Some of the photos of Momo were more challenging to find then others and I wasn't bored with the book at all. Then my 12 year old son took it up for a while. I think my 4 year old grandson would enjoy it too as I plan to gift it to him in December. My family thinks this a so much fun and we can look at it together as a whole. I was thrilled to a review on this delightful and fun book and hope to do so in the future again. My family gives this book a hearty 5 out of 5 stars! ***NOTE*** I this book for free through a BookLikes' giveaways. The opinion given above it is just my thoughts on the book. It has no bearing what so ever in the making of this book.

It isn’t normally the type of book I’d pick up to “read”, especially to read and wind up reviewing, but I make exceptions every now and then. This is a book of photography based around a road trip across two countries and a dog that loves to hide for photos. Seemed like a fun book to take a look at. Find Momo Coast to Coast is full of some great photographs from various tourist attractions and many places from across the United States and Canada from when Momo, a border collie, and Andrew Knapp took a road trip. On their own, the photographs are worth checking out. With the addition of the game, a Where’s Waldo type game, of finding Momo in each photo, it’s an even better book to take a look at. It’s this mix of game and serious photographic journey that I enjoyed most. There’s even an “answer key” in the back of the book for those who need help spotting Momo. Long with the answer, in the back the location of each photo is listed. For me, I’d personally have liked the location given with each photo. That was my only real pet peeve when looking through the book. I found myself flipping back and forth from the photos to the answer key to find out where it was taken. I would have liked that information paired up with the photo to help keep my flow through the book. It’s a minor thing really, but it’s part of the experience. I’m not sure how well it’ll work in the ebook format. So maybe something to take note of when choosing which format to purchase if you do so. I see that there’s a book called Find Momo that came out before this one. I think I’ll try tracking that one down to enjoy soon. I’m sure it’ll be just as great of an addition to my collection as this one.

Remember those Scholastic find the difference pictures? I loved them! Well this book is kind of like that but it’s only one photo and you have to find a dog. Momo is a border collie who loves hiding while his person takes photos of him. It’s fun to look for Momo, but it’s also neat to see all the photos of the places they travel. I’ve been a Momo fan for a few years. I love trying to find him in the photos Knapp takes. Sometimes it’s easy to spot him, others it’s not. And sometimes I just give up after looking and looking, but I mark the pages I didn’t find him in and keep the book handy so I can go back and hunt for him again. And sometimes again. This is a book everyone can enjoy, and it’s fun to do it together with another person or a few people to see who can spot Momo first! This is the second Momo book, the first was Find Momo: A Photography Book. I haven’t checked it out yet but plan on buying a copy soon.

“Find Momo Coast to Coast” a most impressive photo-travelogue.  Photographer Andrew Knapp loaded up his VW van and drove a circuitous route from New England to his home in Sudbury, Ontario, coming close to crossing North America twice on his journey.  He has captured the trip in a unique and wonderful series of photos. The photographs selected for this collection include some tourist attractions, and some “off the beaten track” areas.  ALL feature his border collie, Momo, hiding somewhere in the shot.  In some cases – desert photos, for example – it's not too difficult to pick Momo out.  In others – crowd shots, especially – it can be quite difficult.  I found carrying a magnifying glass was a necessity while looking over this volume.  (Yes, each section does begin with a little prose and a few other snapshots, in which Momo is either not hiding or is absent altogether, but those are not the focus of the book.) There was one aspect of the formatting which I did not like – in the book, each image takes up a full page (again, excepting the intro to each section), until the Answer Key in the back where each photo is reproduced in miniature and Momo's location is identified.  That aspect is fine, but it isn't until you reach this postscript that the LOCATION of each photo is identified, as well.  I would STRONGLY have preferred a caption at the bottom of each page, identifying the location.  While one may make the case that guessing the locale is another aspect of “Finding Momo”, I reserve the right to disagree. The book is still an incredible collection and is highly recommended.  Bring a magnifying glass with you while you review it. RATING: 4.5 stars, rounded up to 5 stars. DISCLOSURE: This book was provided free of charge by the publisher without condition, although an unbiased review review would be a nice gesture.  (The fact that it is a favorable review promptly posted  will probably be appreciated even more.)

Find Momo: Coast to Coast is an adorable book in which the border collie Momo and his buddy Andrew Knapp travel from coast to coast across the United States and Canada. There is a good mix of photos where it is easy to find Momo and ones that challenge the reader's imagination. I can envision this being a fun book to huddle over with the family in a race to find Momo. Many of the photos are breathtaking and worth examining in their own right. I love how there is a mix of tourist attractions and everyday life of the people who in live the areas that Momo and Knapp visit. In the midst of it all, Knap captures photos that show Momo making himself right at home. The two's adventures remind us of the excitement to be found in travel—both in the major attractions and in the quietude of the everyday. Traveling isn't always about visiting the places well traveled. We also need to remind ourselves to look for adventure in the culture of the places that we visit, and we can't do that by following the tourist guidebook. Branch out; explore different sceneries. That said, I do wish that we were given more specific details in the captions about the locations in the photos. If you're curious about where exactly each photo was taken, you have to flip back to the answer key. Otherwise, I have nothing to complain about! Find Momo: Coast to Coast is a fun, unique travel book. I love the idea of sharing a road trip through the antics of a dog, and I had a lot of fun searching for Momo (though at times I did get pretty frustrated. Momo isn't always easy to find!). I would definitely recommend this book to readers, especially those who love furry four-legged creatures like Momo.

ou might remember me reviewing Find Momo last year - I adored it! Well, Momo is on the move again with his BFF Andrew Knapp. This time it's Find Momo Coast to Coast! Who is Momo you ask? Well Momo is Andrew's border collie. And he just happens to like to hide. And he sits really still while Andrew takes a picture of him. Lots of pictures. Andrew started sharing them with his Instagram friends.....who shared them with their friends.... who shared it with.... and they now have over 250,000 followers! Andrew and Momo are on the road again as...."adventure occurs when we embrace change. This book is a game of hide-and-seek, a record of our exploration and a review of the journey...which was, of course, the destination." Coast to Coast takes the duo on a 15,000 mile journey through Canada and the US. And at 100 of their stops, Knapp takes a photo of Momo - hiding. The trick is, of course, to find Momo - although it's not as easy as you would think in some photos! There is an answer key in the back if you get stumped. Knapp is a talented photographer. His shots range from landmarks to off the beaten path areas and attractions. It was those off the main track photos that I enjoyed the most. My only suggestion would have been to have the photos captioned with locations, although these can be found in the answer key as well. And, as I did with Knapp's first book - I adored this one as well. There's great photography, the fun of playing hide and see with a border collie - but also the idea of packing up in yellow VW van and heading out to whatever adventure awaits - with a faithful dog. Find Momo Coast to Coast is just one of those quirky books you can't help but flip through and enjoy. If you liked finding Waldo, you'll love finding Momo.
