A modern day romance. A woman corresponds by email with a guy from canada. She decides to jump in when he asks her to marryhim. Her life isn't going as planned so she figures what has she got to lose. The characters are well developed and there is spanking but it is not the plot point.

Chloe narrates an obsessive exploration of inner feelings and desire for discipline - can she come to terms with her desires? I was provided a copy of this book by ARC Books for purposes of review. Finding Chloe is a riveting story. I read it in one day even though I worked that day! It is a story of a young woman Chloe who felt she would remain single the rest of her life and had started communicating online with men in a last effort to find somebody compatible. She was frustrated with online “dating” and had never met anyone until she started communication with Jake, a mysterious rancher from Canada whom she found to be a gentleman and attractive. Her brother suddenly was getting married and she just moved to Canada after a marriage proposal without ever meeting Jake. She never knew his tendency for discipline of his wife before moving out to Canada but she had become accustomed to it. Her feelings about discipline were confused, thus the title Finding Chloe, she had become lost after moving and getting married. She needed Jake, but could she count on him to come through with what she needed?? The story climaxes around her emotional response to his behavior – it was a surprise ending a little hastily finished in my opinion. Nevertheless it is a touching story, well written and exploring various inner feelings of the characters well. Imagine the surprise of Jake’s behavior for somebody so controlled and calm on the exterior. The book gets my recommendation and explores the issues around Domination and Submission with good taste and encourages deep thought on the subject and lifestyle.

I found myself really enjoying this story! What stood out the most to me is that without good communication, things can quickly become scary, confusing and overwhelming to a very great degree. That is what happens to our heroine in this story. She is disturbed by what her husband's discipline makes her feel; she considers it a dark thing, and that something is wrong with her. Her husband doesn't seem to clue her in, (when he should) that he knows, and is excited by it too. Things play out rather quickly, and that is my only reason for giving this a 4 star. I would love to see a follow up book! I received this book by the publisher for an honest review.

This book is an enjoyable read. Chloe, a single girl in her late twenties wants love but has been jaded and has given up. She decides she'd settle for a relationship without love and just wants someone she can occasionally be intimate with and share the bills with. Chloe begins meeting men through online dating sites and extends her search internationally. One night in a drunken haze she accepts a ridiculous, thoughtless offer. Will she continue through with it? Jake is the owner of a horse ranch. He also has been a little jaded by watching his parents argue throughout his childhood plus a live-in girlfriend who wasn't at all what he wanted in a woman. He decides he is interested in a relationship with no arguing, simple structure, and punishment doled out for any display of anger or disobedience. Chloe feels shamed by the feelings she experiences while being punished. She believes she has bad, unnatural thoughts and feelings and something must be wrong with her. She also realizes she needs love to feel whole. This story is well written and easy to follow. The characters are developed enough to where the reader can connect with them. There are a few areas within that could have easily been expanded upon but that can be left for the readers' imaginations. I received this book for free as a Advanced Reader Copy in exchange for an honest review.

I received an ARC for an honest review. I really enjoyed this fast read by Emma Andersen. You meet Chloe first, and she is quickly a likable character. She is looking for real love, an honest loving relationship. In search of this she takes a chance and moves and marries Jake. He seems like everything she has ever been looking for in a man and husband. She quickly learns he means to protect her and keep her safe but it isn't in the way she had hoped. She is looking for more from him and when she cant get it, she attempts to leave. I wont spoil the rest of the story but it is a lovely story full of love. Hope you enjoy it!

This book was a quick read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The storyline does contain domestic discipline so do be prepared for that. Other than that, it was a heartwarming story of two lonely people getting together via the internet to meet, marry and start a life together. Of course, as with any marriage, there were ups and downs as well as secrets between the two of them about who they truly were deep inside. As the story develops and these walls come down, it is truly a romantic story. My only complaint is that I felt it ended too soon. That there should have been at least one more chapter or two to complete the story.

Short day read. Well written romance with domestic discipline theme. Finding Chloe contains hand and paddle spanking scenes with more severe punishments vaguely mentioned that may enhance the reader’s imagination. Overall, good story line that promotes acceptance of individual erotic tastes.

EMOTIONS AND FEELINGS CAN BE SO DISORGANIZED, FOOLISH, AND SENSELESS I enjoyed this quick read that is packed full of emotions, from haunting secrets, desires, passion, wants, needs, and emotional confusion. Jake grew up watching his parents and their marriage crumb and went for years avoiding a relationship. But in his quest to prevent what happened to his parents happen to him, he has been cheating himself out of a chance for happiness and love. Chloe only has her brother, and when he decides to marry, she feels abandoned. Relationships have been meaningless and what starts out as an account on an online dating site, leads to a marriage proposal and acceptance, to a stranger. The plot has two people who marry without any courting, and until she arrives, they had never met in person and marrying when she arrives in Canada. But marriage needs more, and theirs is more like a business arrangement, where he is the boss, and she is expected to comply or face punishment. These two basically get along, have a good sexual chemistry, but they have left out some very important words and open, honest expression of feelings and emotions. Doubt, fear, pity, confusion and then before you know it, there are major problems, but can they be solved before it is too late.

I am happy to review this book for Blushing Books! In today's age of computer dating, we often hear of matches such as Jake and Chloe's. She moves to Canada and they marry...though each of them has their own ideas of what marriage entails. Jake, coming from a broken home, fears discord of any kind. He's a good hearted man that believes in old fashioned discipline when needed, showing his love rather than voicing it. For Chloe, who experiences domestic discipline for the first time, the results are unsettling. She's sure something is wrong that she would react as she does to something she should totally hate. Because the art of communication is lost between the two of them, problems arise that separates them. This book shows how keeping things in rather than discussing them, can do more damage than good. I can see a continuation in the stars.. (hopefully!)

Absolutely my favorite book. A mix of cowboy and spanking. Could read it again and again.
