In a small town in northern Minnesota, Ellie Mittelstadt goes to a psychic where she receives this prediction: if she finds a man named Chris Evans, true love will follow... Only one problem: Even in the tiny town of Haralson, Minnesota, there are six Chris Evanses!

In Finding Chris Evans: Hotshot Edition, Jenna Mittelstadt has never forgotten the boy who wrote her a letter every week starting at the age of ten. But it's been years since she stood him up on their first--and only--attempt to meet face to face. Her world fell apart that day, and she never told him why. So when her sister Ellie drags Jenna to a pancake breakfast honoring firefighters who've been working the Northern Minnesota wildfires, she doesn't expect to run into a sexy, smoking-hot fireman wearing the friendship bracelet she made all those years ago.

Chris (Kit) Evans spends his summers battling fires, but there's no fighting the instant heat between him and his childhood pen pal. He was crushed when she suddenly disappeared into thin air eight years ago... and finally meeting her seems like a miracle. Unfortunately, Jenna can't get past the tragedy that took all the adventure out of her, while Chris can't bear to see her drift through life another moment. So now the blaze-fighting expert must do everything he can to make Jenna catch fire...for her hopes, her dreams...and maybe even for him.

The fire season may be almost over, but sparks are about to fly...

Now's your chance to fall in love with Chris Evans, too--six different times! The Finding Chris Evans series features NYT and USA Bestselling authors Erin Nicholas, Jennifer Bernard and Erin McCarthy, and award-winning authors Lizzie Shane, Elizabeth Bemis and Jennifer Chance.

Jenna had a pen pal for a long time when she was a young child. She told him everything that was happening in her life and he did the same to her. They were going to meet up and then it never happened. Life happened. We progress to know and Chris(Kit) and they come face to face with each other and cant believe that they are seeing each other. They each thought the other fell of the face of the earth. When Kit and and Jenna start spending more time together he realizes there is a lot going on for Jenna and he want to help her through it. I really found this story to be heartwarming with a neat love story included. I had not read this author in the past but read it as part the finding chris evan's series and did enjoy. This book can be read as a stand alone. I received this book as an ARC from the Authors of this series.

This is the third novella in The Finding Chris Evans series and I am loving it! I absolutely loved the premise of this novella, two childhood pen pals reunited. I loved that Jennifer Bernard brought the Chris Evans novella into her Jupiter Point world. I do love me some firefighters! I would definitely recommend this novella!

Jenna goes off with her sister, Ellie, to find Ellie's Chris Evans. What she hadn't planned on, was finding her own. Chris, aka Kit, was her pen pal years ago, and they lost touch. Now they are getting to know each other again. The sparks fly, but they live far apart, and his job keeps him away for long periods of time. Can they work past all that and find their way together? A great story. I loved it! Definitely recommend.

In this installment of the Chris Evans series, we get to meet Chris "Kit"Evans and Jenna. I totally dug the fact that Kit is a part of the new Hot Shot crew in Jupiter Point, J Bernard's newest series (1st book Set the Night on Fire). This is a second chance romance novella involving old pen pals that meet up by fate several years after they stopped writing. I loved that we got to see how Kit and Jenna connected as teens writing to each other and then how they connect as adults. I

Finding Chris Evans: The Hotshot Edition is written by Jennifer Bernard. This time Ellie Mittlestadt involves her sister Jenna in the search for her Chris Evans, the man a psychic told her to find if she wanted true love. Jenna never forgot the boy she corresponded with starting at the age of ten. It might have started as a pen pal project at school, but these two continued writing for many years. When the two were to meet Jenna’s parents were killed in a car accident and her world was damaged beyond repair. She totally forgot, standing him up. Ellie forces Jenna to accompany her to a pancake breakfast honoring firefighters who worked fighting wildfires in Northern Minnesota. It helps that one of the firefighters happens to be named Chris Evans. After all, there are six of them in and around their town of Haralson, Minnesota. Instead of Ellie meeting her Chris Evans, Jenna bumps into a hot, sexy firefighter wearing the friendship bracelet she made for her pen pal many years ago. She never expected that he would turn into a sexy, smoking hot fireman. Chris (Kit) Evans might spend his summers battling wildfires, but there is no fighting the heat that ignites between him and his childhood pen pal. He was crushed when she disappeared into thin air and stood him up all those years ago. Their accidental meeting was a miracle, one they knew they had to take advantage of and see if there is any spark between them. This was a fun and entertaining story with loveable characters that you want to support and cheer on hoping for that happy ending. The characters were well written, authentic and complex. The story line was riveting and kept my attention to the very end. I genuinely enjoyed reading this book and had trouble putting this book down. I really enjoy reading books written by Jennifer Bernard and I highly recommend this book to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Jenna Mittelstadt has been penpals with Kit since she was ten, but the day they were supposed to meet in person, she didn’t show up, that was 8 years ago. Jenna’s sister Ellie takes her to a breakfast in honour of the firefighters who had been in their small Minnesota town to fight wildfires. A fortune teller had told Ellie that she would marry a Chris Evans, and lo and behold, there is a firefighter by that name! A Chris Evans from Jupiter Point, California; could he be the one! Nope, but he is Jenna’s Kit! FINDING CHRIS EVANS is just wonderful! I’m not saying another word about the story – it’s a novella, after all! – because I want everyone to savour every little moment of this fabulous treat! The banter between this Chris Evans and Jenna is simply delightful, both are such engaging characters, their reunion is just lovely, and Jenna demonstrates a lot of growth in this short book. Nothing has changed between Kit and Jenna and yet everything has changed! The writing is superb, the story ingenious, the misunderstanding is heartbreaking; FINDING CHRIS EVANS is short, but so, so sweet! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

In this episode of Finding Chris Evans, we meet Ellie’s sister, Jenna, and learn more about the way the past has shaped their lives. This is a quirky, steamy and fun story, where Jenna and this Chris Evans (aka Kit) reunite when they meet in person for the first time. Curious? Grab it and read it!

A fun, sweet novella When a fortune teller meddling in her nephew's life tells Ellie that she will find her true love, Chris Evans, she sets into motion more than she planned. Who knew that there would be more than one Chris Evans around the Ellie's small Minnesota town? This time she has found a hot shot from Jupiter Point, CA getting ready to head home after his crew fights a local wildfire, so Ellie drags her little sister to the pancake breakfast in honor of the hot shots, hoping to find this Chris Evans. Jenna has been floating through life, scared of living after the tragic accident that took her parents eight years ago. With the accident she lost not only her parents, but the pen pal she had been close to since she was 10. They were supposed to meet the day after the accident and when she didn't show, or write, he gave up on her. Imagine Jenna's surprise, when she bumps into a hot fireman wearing the ugly friendship bracelet made for her pen pal all those years ago. This Chris Evans is her pen pal Kit, and after she gets over her shock, she chases after him, wanting to explain. They become pen pals again, via email, and Kit feels bad when he realizes why Jenna never showed. As they reconnect, they work their way back to each other. Can these two find their HEA? A short, sweet novella with fun characters, this is the first part of the series I have read, and I really enjoyed it. Jennifer Bernard has a way of fully developing characters, whether in a short novella or a full-length novel. The premise is interesting, and the story grabs you right away. It works a stand alone novella, despite being part of a larger series.

What would you do if a fortune teller told you your destiny was to fall in love with Chris Evans? You’d find Chris Evans, of course. Jennifer Bernard’s Hotshot Edition is our girl’s third try. This time she takes her sister along for the ride. Once again, this Chris is not the one for our girl. However, the sister finally gets her man. I really, really want someone to write the after the HEA story as both sisters end up married to a Chris Evans – at least according to our fortune teller. Copy received from a participating author.

This is the second novella I've read in this series and I loved it! These are fun quick reads that are perfect for a quick break from reality. Ellie Mittelstadt is still on her quest to find the Chris Evans the fortune teller would turn out to be her one true love. Rousing her sister Jenna from a nice sleep to go with her to meet up with a Hotshot Team that another Chris Evans works for isn't the craziest think Ellie has done lately. Jenna grumpily goes along but is she ever thankful when one of the Hotshots turns out to be her childhood pen pal Kit. It just so happens that his real name is Chris Evans but she had always known him as Kit! They had lost touch along the way and Jenna is so excited to meet up with him again if only to explain to him what happened all those years ago when they had planned to meet. Don't miss this fun read! I highly recommend it.

“Finding Chris Evans: The Hotshot Edition” is part of the Finding Chris Evans series, each novella written by different authors. The Hotshot Edition is Jennifer Bernard’s contribution and is outstanding! This book is connected to her Jupiter Point series so I hope to see these characters in future books. If you are looking for a quick, fun read then this fits the bill. Jenna and Chris “Kit” reunite and they cannot deny their chemistry. This books is a sweet, fun romance and a must read.

Yep....I think I love this Chris Evans series. Jenna and Kit (aka Chris Evans) were matched up when they were becoming pen pals. They wrote letters to each other every week for years. They had an ill fated meet in person date scheduled but Jenna stood Kit up. Her parents were killed in a car accident so Jenna never showed. She stopped writing and Kit never found out why she stood him up. Fast forward to Minnesota years later. Jenna's sister Ellie visited a fortune teller who told her she was going to meet the love of her life and his name was Chris Evans. Ellie "kidnapped" Jenna one morning to go to a breakfast to thank the firefighters who were in town fighting the wildfires burning in their area. Ellie found out one of the Jupiter Point Hotshots was named Chris she had to go. He might be her soulmate. So Ellie dragged Jenna along to meet him. A crazy wild crash gave them the attention of the whole Hotshots crew. But to poor Ellie's chagrin...none were named Chris Evans. Meanwhile, in the restaurant...Jenna bumps into the most magnificent looking man ever. While they were talking she noticed a blast from the past. The friendship bracelet she had made for Kit all those years ago. Jenna was stunned to find the hottie was her long lost pen pal. Turns out, her Kit was the Chris Evans her sister went to find. Connections patched, the two set out on an adventure that will last them the rest of their lives. I loved Kit and Jenna. Their story was so sweet and romantic. And don't forget the fun. The story has many funny parts that will have you smiling. Overall...another great book by Jennifer Bernard.

Jennifer Bernard has written some great books about firemen, especially the ones who are called hotshots, and mixing the sexy stories she writes with the “Finding Chris Evans” series? Priceless! The premise of these stories, which you can read for free in the prequel, is about Ellie Mittelstadt having a psychic predict she will find true love with a Chris Evans. Turns out, there are six of ‘em in her tiny little town. Ms. Bernard’s story is about Jenna Mittelstadt, Ellie’s sister, meeting up with a childhood friend by the name of Kit Evans…and yes, Kit is short for Christopher (or Chris) and Ellie misses out on yet another Chris Evans being her match. Jenna and Kit knew each other long ago, had a falling out with much extenuating circumstances, and their story is sweet, sexy, funny, and heartbreaking, all at the same time. What a great story – and you won’t want to miss this installment of Finding Chris Evans. I really loved the story and wanted to hug both Kit and Jenna because at times, one or both of them need that hug. Can’t wait for the next story in this series and in Ms. Bernard’s new series about hotshot firemen. This story will make you smile, just as it did for me.

“Finding Chris Evans: The Hotshot Edition” is written by Jennifer Bernard. It is the third story in the Finding Chris Evans series, and it can be read as a stand-alone novella. It features hotshot fireman Chris "Kit" Evans and Jenna Mittelstadt. In the prequel, Jenna's older sister, Ellie Mittelstadt, visits a fortune teller, who reveals that she will fall in love with someone named Chris Evans. Problem is, there are 6 Chris Evans in town. So she meets all of them. Along the way, the first 5 Chris Evans she meets find their true love. So with this novella, Ellie drags Jenna to meet the firefighters who are being honored at a pancake breakfast. Jenna runs into one of the firefighters literally. Unbeknownst to her, it's her pen pal, Kit Evans. She only realizes it's him because he's still wearing the friendship bracelet she made him several years ago. Neither of them have ever met each other, but their friendship ended on a misunderstanding. Will they become more than pen pals? What happens when Kit has to leave to go back to the hotshots? This was a fun story to read! Jenna's relationship with her sister made me laugh. Especially with how Ellie was in a rush to make the breakfast on time. What I also enjoyed was how the readers got insight into how Kit and Jenna's friendship started. From the past, they had their letters, and now in the present, they have their emails. Kit and Jenna were just natural together. You could really tell they were meant to find each other again. Jennifer Bernard wrote a clever story that was lighthearted and endearing! Readers will love it!

Finding Chris Evans: The Hotshot Edition is the perfect read for a lazy afternoon. Jenna's sister , Ellie has visited a fortune teller and is trying to find her true love, Chris Evans. The only problem is there are six Chris Evans in their small town. Ellie talks Jenna is coming to meet the Chris Evans, who happens to be in town with the Hotshots firefighters from Jupiter Point. This Chris Evans, turns out to be Kit, Jenna's pen pal from growing up, whom she stopped writing to when she was sixteen. Ellie has lost out again but Jenna and Kit swap emails now. As they start communicating again, the heat ignites and they decide to meet. Will they stay friends or do they find themselves in more of life long relationship. Loved this edition of Finding Chris Evans, how sweet were the pen pal letters then the emails. I find friends make such a better relationship in the long run. Can't wait to read more of these books, hoping Ellie finds her own true love. I highly recommend this book along with the rest of this series.

Jenna Mittelstat has never forgotten her pen pal when she was a kid. She wrote to him from the time she was ten until her world fell apart when she was sixteen and had plans to meet him in real life. They lost touch and she tried to move on. Flash forward to today. Jenna's shocked when her sister Ellie drags her to some pancake breakfast in her quest to find the Chris Evans the psychic told her about and instead she finds Kit, her pen pal. Here it is all these years later and he is still wearing the friendship bracelet she made him. He's now one of the Jupiter Point hot shots, and also the Chris Evans her sister was looking for! Jenna always called him Kit, but Chris is his given name. Kit hasn't forgotten Jenna in all these years, but also hasn't forgotten how she broke his heart by standing him up the day they were supposed to meet. Can he put those feelings aside and reconnect with his pen pal? I loved this story, and I loved the connection to the Jupiter Point hot shots that we met in book one of Ms. Bernard's new Jupiter Point series. I hope these two make appearances in additional Jupiter Point books.
