About the Author

Ron Meldrum is a church planter working in rural Maine. Before answering God's call to start new churches in rural areas, Meldrum pastored a church for over 12 years. He served on the board of directors for Hope Haven Gospel Mission, a rescue mission in Lewiston, Maine, for over 6 years. He and his wife, Melinda ("Mindy"), are no strangers to difficult times, having struggled through acute financial, health, and people challenges.

This book has grown out of Meldrum's experiences as a pastor, as a part of the ministry of the rescue mission, and as a husband, father, and son desiring to serve God in a very imperfect world.
