Perfect for the beginner and a handy reference for the experienced. Beautiful Color Photographs throughout as well as pictures of feet/accessories needed. Non-specific regarding machines brands (ie: use stitch #139 on the Elna or #19 on the Pfaff). Shows actual pictures of stitches that almost any machine can do, and how to get the 'look'. An excellent addition to every sewists library. If you want to try your hand at heirloom sewing but don't know where to start....start here. Then go to Mimi's books...if you can find them.

Don't miss out! Great photos, amazing descriptions, am very very happy I bought this book. It hasn't left my sewing table since it arrived. I refer to it with every project - at least once!
