About the Author

When he pulled away, i stood there, stunned. Then, when i got the ability to move, i turned away from him , tears streaming down my face. I was remembering all too well my horrible breakup with Nick. Ro noticed my tears and reached over to brush them away, a concerned look on his face. It only made me cry harder. To have a boy, even if he was a vampire, love me was the worst thing in the world. I couldnt afford another breakup. Ro just stood there, watching me cry, then pulled me in for a hug. I stood there, letting him hold me but not hugging him back. He held me for what seemed like an eternity until my choking sobs turned into little sniffles. He then pulled away, quietly asking me, "Are you all right now?" I nodded, then wiped my nose on his shirt. He jerked away, saying, "Woah. No wiping noses on my expensive clothes." I just nodded again. Then i said, my voice cracking, "Thanks." He just stood there, studying me. I walked over to the table and sat down to eat, his eyes still on me. Suddenly i heard footsteps on the stairs, and saw my dad coming down. I turned to Ro to tell him to leave, but he was nowhere in sight.
