The story is great and intriguing but it needs a better hook so i dont have to force myself to read it before becoming interested halfway through. Also needs a better editor. Lots of strange but subtle grammar mistakes. Not fun for a grammar freak like moi. Needs better character development. The only character i could fully visualize was ruko and for obvious reasons. Personally it was too dirty for me. Every time there is an anal sex scene i skip two pages and then have to work my way backward so as not to miss any story parts. Just...ew. not for under 18years old. Next time they need to inform people about mature content rating in the summary. I love love LOVE the concept but the little things like this diminish my respect for the book and the author. I have enough negative critiques to give this 2 stars but i love the story line enough for 3 stars. ---TigressAyura

This book had to be the most akward and confusing books Ive read in a while. I DO NOT recommend for children under 18!

I stoped reading this at aout pg 500 ehen another gay rape scene happened. This is not needed and greatly detracts from what could be a rely good story. I will not go any further with the other book ehich is very diapointing. These could be a very good seried of books. I think the author should re-edit this and remove the vulgarity and rapes. This id in no way sutable for any one under 18 years of age. I will go to the authord wrb sight and express this. I would have given 4 stars but the sex and volgarity ruined for me. Tolkien managed to tell an epic story with none of that.

Gave up when the story started to become very hard to follow. Needed a better editor and really did not make sense for the writer to add a bunch of poor language and just dirty talk.

I liked the storyline and the characters but she needs a good editor or at least a proofreader!

I enjoyed the story line but I think the author needs to find a better editor. There were a lot of errors that made no sense.

It was a little hard to follow at first. When youger into it, it was hard to put down. Not a book for kids. Must be an adult. A liffle to much of that type of sex for me. But well written.

Would have given more stars if not for the graphic secular content. A little confusing at times but eventually clears up. Free book w/605 pages. Will look for volume 2 and see where the story leads.

took a little for me to get into the book, but once I did--it ended! Will read the next 2 to see what happens.

have to say sci fi isnt my thing but this book sounded interesting so I got it. At first I wasnt sure I was gonna be able to stick with it but I quickly became enthralled in the story. There were some times I thought it was less exciting and then all the sudden something would happen to drag my attention back in, the whole book was like this there was constantly something happening to keep me interested. Overall it was a good book and a good read.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a bit confusing to me in the beginning, until I puzzled out what the story was about. After that I found it to be quite a page turner. I got this book as a free, edition from B&N, and would recommend it to older teen and adults that like fantasy novels.

It was okay. The editing was terrible. I was constantly distracted by the mistakes. The story was interesting and held my attention. I probably won't read the next book in the series.

Fire and Ice is a fantasy novel. I didn't get through it but stopped when a young boy is gang raped by bullies. I don't like reading books like that. That just turns me off a story fast.

TRASH! Zero stars! I only selected 1 because I couldn't leave a review without selecting a star.
