This is a fun and exciting read. Excellent humor, witty writing and plot suspense make for a very entertaining experience. I am anxiously awaiting another Case of Beers!  Keep 'em coming, PM. Georges Soubois

Well-written with a great mix of suspense and humor; I frequently laughed out loud.  The main character, "Beers,"  a refreshingly normal guy, is diligent about carrying out his security duties in a major department store, which may or may not be owned by the Mafia.  Although being pulled in many directions at once, such as filling in for Santa during the holidays, Beers continues doggedly on with the assistance of a couple of colorful, but attractive co-workers, to determine the cause of a growing number of strange, destructive occurrences at the department store.  I loved that LaRose used music to enhance circumstances: Beers would suddenly think of a song that had some association with whatever situation he happened to be in.  The book wraps up nicely without leaving the reader hanging while setting up nicely for a sequel—one can only hope.
