About the Author
Judy Lynch, a certified reading specialist who holds a masters degree in reading and language arts, team teaches first grade at Madison Elementary School near Sacramento, California. She is also a Reading Recovery teacher, providing literacy support to K-3 teachers. When she is not teaching, Judy helps school districts across the United States and Canada, bringing teachers the latest research and practices into their classrooms.
