One night, Skye finally gets her chance to see things change when her Alpha calls a pack meeting with news that he's establishing a new chapter of the Koto in New Jersey. Determined to explore the world and find her mate, she chooses to leave-but her best friend and the only guy she's ever had feelings for up until now wants to follow her.
Skye is allowed to go to school for the first time in her life, but soon finds that making human friends and fitting into a world she knows little about is a lot harder than she thought it would be. She can't worry about school too much, though, because her Alpha has decided to add new pack members who may or may not have murdered their own Alpha.

This book had a lot of action in it i like that it is some what conected to the Howl seriies i really enjoyed it looking forward to the next book
Actual Rating is 3.5 Stars. This book was a good start to a new series from these ladies, but it wasn't all that impressive, especially considering what I've come to expect from their other werewolf series. The characters were all different, but the only ones really fleshed out were the main character Skye, the one love interest Thane, and the alpha, Akar. The rest of the pack is just kind of there for now. The plot was very slow to start, but once it got going, it was pretty interesting. I hope the next one is a little better.
