There is even a story about the teenage Frankenstein in here. How movie monsters can be your friends. The main story reminded me so much of what Christmas is like when you're nine. It has betrayal in it. And I guess we learn eventually friends are so different than we can believe. It hurts to read some of these. But life hurts and its nice to have stories of it, so you say hey it's how I feel too sometimes. If you like horror, this book you will like a lot. It's subtle sometime. And it puts a neat answer to the baby crying all night urban legend. About what we don't like to read what might be next door. A kid with a scarf round his neck, in one story, and another how I think pure beauty can turn a person evil. Stories disturbed me. Not a fan of horror stories, but if you are, this is the one. The butterfly/murder story was really good. Nice writing on all of them.
