Reviewed by Tshombye K. Ware for Readers' Favorite Five Moons: Revolution by Bill Parker is a story about a galactic battle between rivaling species, in which the Anoza High Council stood as spectators. Something happened which threw all harmony into chaos and now Raven, the arrogant Anoza, challenges an act committed by Toron toward the humans - a gift of the Tesseract. The act didn't go down too well and now civilization is thrown into a galactic war of vindication and rescue. From page one you are thrust into a character-driven adventure. The author's style is adrenaline pumped action. The character description is vivid to the point where you think you're viewing a movie. Raven's tenacity drove this story to exciting discoveries - her willingness to conquer and elude as illustrated in this quote: "You are dealing with a very crafty opponent in Raven. Her first instinct will always be to go through as many rings as it takes to throw you off her trail.” I love this type of writing. It makes it easier to follow the story and compels me to turn page after page, which is something I did with this novel. I have an ear for dialogue and the author stunned me. Having a vivid imagination myself, the author's style intricately placed images within my mind and had me thinking about past scenes while reading. This allowed the story to build slowly yet progressively. With this being the fifth book, the author has convinced me through his writing, without suggesting, to go back and read the first four books. I can only imagine how readers feel who have had the privilege of reading the first books. Some book series can be confusing if you haven't read the prior books; this is not one of those series. This book itself could stand alone bravely, with the certainty that readers will get a thrilling story until the end. The protagonist and antagonist are more than awe-inspiring. No disappointment on my end and I'm sure that it will be the same for others. This is a well-written story that will captivate readers until the end.
