Technically, a "fable" is a short fictional story -- with animals as main characters -- that tries to teach a lesson or point out a moral truth.
But in this book I want you to think of "fable" as a powerful story, either fact or fiction, that helps the reader in some way. It could entertain, educate, or offer that reader a useful idea.
Flash Fable Secrets combines techniques of flash fiction (short stories under 1000 words) with components of biography and memoir.
The prime ingredient is EMOTION. Its message might appeal to the intellect also. But to be remembered, a story must first cature the reader's emotions.
While writing dozens of biographical sketches, I developed a story format that can be applied to personal or business histories, advertising and public relations, short stories, and school essays.
I call it the Flash Fable...short, dramatic, and informative.
