About the Author

Kathryn Fitzpatrick is a recent graduate of Central Connecticut State University, where she received the Leslie Leeds Poetry Prize and the Barry Leeds Critical Essay Award. Her writing has been published by Cleaver Magazine, Unbroken Journal, Out Magazine, and others. She lives in Thomaston, Connecticut, where she's working on an essay collection about Thomaston, called Raggie.

Tom Hazuka has published three novels, over sixty-five short stories, and two books of nonfiction, both co-written with C.J. Jones (A Method to March Madness: An Insider's Look at the Final Four and A Summer That Can Change Your Life: A History of the Educational Opportunity Program at Central Connecticut State University). He has edited or co-edited nine anthologies, including Flash Fiction, Flash Fiction Funny, Flash Nonfiction Funny, Sudden Flash Youth, and You Have Time for This. He taught fiction writing for several years at Central
