Have you ever read a book that was so good you contacted the author to tell them? I did that and was surprised how nice she was. I have to say, I was hesitant at first when choosing this book over another but I'm glad I got this one. From page one I knew this was a keeper. I read it in two days. I'm worried about wasting my money on books now because it seems the quality has gone down. I was not disapointed. This is a brilliant book and crafted in a way that I want to read it again and again. I recommend it.

I was extremely pleased to discover a refreshingly different plot within the lesfic genre. Not just another "girl meets girl" story, this was a wonderful story with terrific characters and a natural flow. The story immediately drew me in to the point of finding myself unable to put it down till the very last words. I imagine developing characters of a story cannot be easy, but it takes true talent to develop a character that is in fact two entwined as one. This author possesses such talent. What stood out the most for me with this book was the incredible writing style and natural flow of the story. It takes a special skill incorporating flashbacks in writing, and most authors shy away from it for fear of causing confusion. I have to say Dawn Carter did a superb job interweaving both the characters from two different time periods and the flashbacks in this story. It flowed together so well, I was never once confused or never once lost connection of where the story had taken me. I highly recommend this book!
