We recently threw my nephew a graduation barbecue and what my husband and I learned from this book helped make our food the toast of the night. For the first time ever we didn't have any leftovers. There wasn't even any food left for people to take home. This book is absolutely awesome. It is filled with every kind of marinades, injections, brines, rubs and glazes that you will ever need and they are coded for the type of food they work best with. I love it and would recommend it to anyone. For all of my salads and side dishes, I also recommend another amazing book called Conquer Your Kitchen by a chef named Jai Scovers. I found it here on BN. I was afraid of using my slow cooker that I got for Christmas until I read this book. I put some beef short ribs on the other day and told my husband that I need to get a dog. He looked at me like I was crazy and said why. I said the meat from the short ribs fell of the bones. What was I going to do with all of the bones? (Laughing) Sorry! Buy this book if you can as well. I love it and you will too.
