Jeremy Robinson and Sean Ellis team up again, this time for an all out action fest. 15 year old Jenna Flood is having a bad day, did that sound like a tag line for 24? Good! Because the comparison is a valid and well deserved one. Someone wants Jenna dead, but why? What harm could a teenager be to the world? We join Jenna on her journey to find out why she is being hunted and what exactly everyone is so afraid of. As always, Robinson and Ellis put our 'hero' through unspeakable events, causing readers to wonder what ever is going to happen next. The book is anything but predictable. It will have you guessing and sitting on the edge of your seat. Once you start I think you'll be hard pressed to put it down until the very last page, then you'll feel the overwhelming urge to rush to the authors and ask just one question - when is the next book available.

While not as good as the Chess Team novels, Flood Rising was an excellent opening for a new series. It sets up the possibility of a lengthy series and gives us a few truly unique surprises along the way. Of course, I have come to expect nothing less from the team of Robinson and Ellis. They are masters at this genre and they just can't write them fast enough for me. Stephanie Clanahan

Another great thriller from Robinson and Ellis! These two have written great thrillers together like some of the Jack Sigler books, and they do it again with Flood Rising! It starts out hitting the ground running and doesn't stop! Plenty of action, unexpected plot twists, and cool characters! Jenna Flood is an interesting new protagonist, and I hope we get to see more of her in future adventures too!

Jeremy Robinson has devoted a lot of time over the years to his Chess Team Series, which contain high action with fantastic characters, but it is refreshing to see him create a new storyline with a new cast of characters. Flood Rising started with a bang, and the frantic pace only increased as the book went on. I found myself empathizing with Jenna, the main character, as she received many confusing and conflicting revelations regarding her own origination and history. Just as she experienced, I found myself wanting answers, and the truth. As the storyline progressed, it grew increasingly difficult put down the final third of the book. As I finished, I found myself upset that this adventure is now completed, but now I’m anxiously awaiting the next installment of the series. If you’re up for a fast paced adventure that happens in real time, then this is the book for you!

This book started out strong and only got stronger, the main character Jenna was awesome from start to finish. I could not put this book down there was so much action and it kept me on the edge of my chair. The whole premise of this book was so fresh and went in a direction I did not see coming. If you like full on action and adventure this book will not disappoint you, do yourself a favor and read this book!

Genetic cloning is the reality. The reasons and the outcome makes it a great read.

Staying consistent with the action in the Jack Sigler series the plot thickens that the flood rising story just keeps getting better. Keep the series going!

I thoroughly enjoyed Flood Rising and the new lead character Jenna Flood and her world. I was already a fan of Jeremy Robinson and Sean Ellis through Chess Team books, and this tale further solidified that fandom. The action just doesn't stop! I look forward to many more Flood stories, although I want more Chess Team books, too. Robinson's stories make me a greedy reader, I guess. Good thing he has writing partners like Ellis and Kane Gilmour to help keep the words flowing.

I truly enjoyed the book...it really kept me on the edge of my seat. I would love to see Jenna continue her work and find the rest of her "family" and solve the mystery of where the transmission came from. Am looking forward to book two!

Flood rising was definitely action packed. I cannot tell you how many times I found myself cringing or worrying about Jenna because from a mom's point of view her ordeal was terrifying! Did not expect that ending and cannot wait to see where the story goes next!

Flood Rising by Jeremy Robinson and Sean Ellis is a fast action thriller that leaves one gasping for breath and anticipating the next book in the series.  Jenna Flood appears to be a typical teenage girl in the Florida Keys. She helps her dad, Noah Flood, on his charter fishing boat. One day while cleaning the boat after a charter she finds a cooler that one of their passengers left behind. The cooler sparks, literally, questions because the cooler has a bomb in it. Jenna and her dad barely make it out alive.  From this point forward Jenna is running. She is running to find the answer about who she is, who her dad is, and why she is the way she is. She is also running for her life. We follow Jenna through south Florida and the Keys as she evades a government hit squad and searches for answers. She thinks her dad has been killed and has only one friend to help her. She doesn’t know who to trust especially when her dad shows up and appears to be with those who are trying to kill her. Her path leads her to New Mexico where we begin to see answers. Jenna is a remarkable girl. Not very credible for a typical teenager, but as the story progresses you find out what is happening and she becomes very credible. Noah is very credible as a protective, ex-military father, in fact, he is my favorite character.  This book would be a great read for those who like a lot of action, as well as those who like science and conspiracy theories. There is a lot of violence in it and yet I would recommend it for teens. Jenna is a good role model and although some of her decisions are questionable some of the hardest are made with reason and integrity.  I was privileged to receive a copy of this book from the author at no charge. However, I believe that my review is fair and accurate.

Flood Rising is an action thriller that will keep you guessing right until the end.  I wasn't entirely sure that I would find a book about a teenage girl this interesting, but this was a heart-pounding action romp from cover to cover and it quickly captured my attention.  Jenna Flood is hunted at every turn and she has no idea why.  Her struggle to survive turns into a fight to uncover a mystery that has followed her since birth.  The book has a great conclusion, but its sure to leave you wanting more.  I think this is going to be the start of a popular new series.
