About the Author

Héctor Jiménez was born in Zaragoza, Spain, and has dual Spanish-U.S. citizenship. Having spent half his youth in Spain before settling in the United States, he maintains a deep connection to his homeland and returns often. An avid lover of the outdoors, he finds peace in nature and exploration.

His journey on the Camino de Santiago was transformative, captivating him with its landscapes, history, food, and the camaraderie of fellow pilgrims. Inspired by his walks along the Camino Francés, he wrote his first book, Flowers of the Camino Francés, a guidebook that delves into the beauty, folklore, and significance of the flowers encountered along the pilgrimage route.

Héctor currently resides in Colorado, where he continues to explore and share his passion for history, travel, and the Camino experience.
